Strider "warranty" process

I'm not in the "know" on micro tech. But I do know that as a veteran I take offense to mick strider or burger or what ever the hell it is, lying about his military career to promote his business. Then on top of being a liar they treat customers like crap. I don't care how great the knife is, I won't spend a single cent on anything from that dude.

Atleast we have free market and you can buy what you want. I also dont plan to buy Strider´s knives.

Whatever manner they chose isn't very timely IMHO... :thumbdn::grumpy: I have two SNG's right now but used to have three as well as two SMF's. Risky!

I might bail on the brand because of all the known issues. Too bad, because the knives (if you get a good one) are awesome.

I know spark called him out , but I wouldn't say a lot of people are aware. Most people don't even know about bladeforums much less that thread. The average buyer has no clue. I bet there's a lot of people that are members here on bladeforums that haven't seen that thread.

And I would disagree that his businesd hasn't been hurt the "slightest" even if one customer is steered clear that is less sales for him. And there are more than a few people who refuse to support the liar.

And thanks for posting the link to sparks thread. Spark earned my respect by airing that phony out.

Just one more reason not to learn what an instagram is. :D

I like my two Striders, but I never bought the hype.
I knew about the lies beforehand.

Buy knives, not stories (except for novels of course...like mine :)).

Yep. The one used by most bad ass spec ops soldiers. Because everybody needs brick with so much cutting surface. Dont mention the lock rocks. They re there for a reason, because when you re out there in the field, chasing terrorist around Afghanisthan you need super reliable brick which can cut through metal, pierce bulletproof vests and so on.
 
I'm talking about the design of the SnG. It's a perfect folder design. And, the HT is pretty good too.
I never had problems with my Strider Folders.

The stories are about his badassery (the stolen valour thing).
I know the truth about his lies...and I don't care.
