This ones a keeper. Original working finish ZT 0392 at 18 dps. Might make it more acute eventually...

This thread in inspiring! I'm not super into cosmetics of my blades, but it's cool to see the finished results of a polished edge, for sure. And impressive the level of cosmetic refinement and consistency that a lot of folks are able to get even with freehand sharpening.
I'm gonna try getting one of my folders nicely profiled freehand, then use something like @HeavyHanded approach wrapping some computer paper around my coarse stone, put some Tormek 8K paste on it, and see if I can get a pretty edge.

Took this one to 15 dps as well. Fresh off the 0.6 micron ceramics, no stropping this time, just to see.

Polished edge and swedge on a stripped Kershaw Outcast. A beast in D2. Taking the photos with a Little ANGELS coloring book made me laugh.
What stones and process of grits, strops, etc did you use to get these results?
