Nice one Chris!

Andy,

Thank you!

Steel Drake,

I learnt a lot on Washboard (the video, manual & discussions with HeavyHanded). My result is nothing compared to his & Jason B.
If you're interested in improving your freehand skill, check it out. The Washboard can strop without rounding!

Sorry for OT, hope it's helpful.

You fellas inspired me to have a go. Here's my EDC Kershaw Volt2. Went straight from a medium Arkansas to a wooden paint stick slathered with Mothers mag wheel polish. Shine pops up almost instantly. This is stropped for about 2-3 minutes, then just about 6-8 pulls across a couple sheets of newspaper. Far from some of the best on here, but hopefully my humble offering will inspire others to just "have a go".

I did initially set the bevels on a Lansky, but have since been free handing to attempt to convex the triple bevel I started with.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Did this one tonight on my Lansky Deluxe (Diamond Stones) system. Owned it for a week now. Getting better & better results. Definitely a learning curve to get good results.

It's a little early for that color scheme :D But i especially like the apex - a beautiful polish on the face, but not too clean to remain unused [emoji106]
It's definitely a user knife, I only polished it for the hell of it. However soon decided it wasn't worth it to maintain a polish on a knife that's beaten thru wood regularly. So the polish is now gone and trying to regress it enough to take a patina.

The wide bevel and serration damage was there before I recieved the blade (It had been used extensively). This was one of my first polished edges.
