Kershaw strobe fresh off the wicked edge !!
Hmm I may need to start looking into getting a wicked edge. Seems to put a sick edge on a knife. I got a work sharp ko but I don't always wanna put a convex on certain knives. Will the wicked edge do scandi grinds without a secondary bevel?

This was once a mirror edge; now it's sort of mirrored due to some heavy use LOL! Many hours of reprofiling on the Edge Pro.

No it won't do a Scandi grind w/ no secondary unless you do some mods. Or if your scandi angles are 15 dps or more it will do it without mods, but that is rare. Plus it would take HOURS and HOURS and I would not suggest that lol. Here is a scandi I did, but I do it by machine and it still takes a bit to get everything just right and to progress through the belts... probably about 30-45 min! But I did some major reprofiling on it too

Daniel Rohde Shark-Tail Necker in 52100 (6.75" OAL)

Edge bevel (~7 dps) sharpened freehand on my usual Bester 1200 -> Suehiro Rika 5k -> Naniwa Junpaku 8k -> Naniwa Specialty Stone 10k progression.

15 dps apex micro-bevel created with 15 pps on Spyderco F rods (Chosen for a preferable slicing/push-cutting balance than UF's IMHO).

Nice work! I bet that took a while! Freehand waterstones? Did you strop afterward?

Great job!

I only use an 8000 grit stone. I never polish more than a few minutes a day, but that's everyday. It's shiny...
About to order a WE pro 2, i see the picture perfect bevels on here, think I should give it a try.

Wait, are you saying you polished that wide bevel using ONLY an 8000 grit stone?! That has to be the most hardcore thing I've seen on here....how long did it take?!
