Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

If I had to guess I would suggest they're accepting risk of putting off losing some time and production associated with finishing up all the large blades (and said people waiting canceling their orders) with pumping out more newer orders and models to shoot up their money in the bank.

That's not a feel good approach but declaring bankruptcy means people have 0% chance of getting their knives and money back (unless they have a solid CC company).
The problem with the current philosophy is that the 2021 and 2022 orders will soon be a backlog since those knives are already paid for and they would still need money to keep the operation going. Given their history, they'll most likely never fix this issue. Especially when they aren't making any attempt to.

They've claimed multiple times that their backlog would be complete by X month or in a few months. They claimed in the video from July that all the older orders would be fulfilled by July or in a few weeks. Yet in 4 months, NO progress has been made.

I appreciate that thanks. Craytab made the original question so I'm waiting for him to admit it's possible.

This is an open forum and (I think it's fair to assume that) everyone has wanted to know that since you started posting here.

He asked, so I would assume it is possible depending on what it is.

Let's hear it.

That's possible. Some people here no doubt think all their pictures are photo-shopped and videos are deep fakes. Companies selling their knives must be fake shell companies etc.. etc..
I think they've successfully transitioned into becoming their own manufacturer. You're right there does appear to be a trend where current orders will become backlogged. Guy admitted to taking on other jobs for other companies between knife batches. I thought that was transparent of him.
You need money to make money.

Yup. That was a bold promise to make. Didn't seem like many believed it. It probably got him a few more orders. I've made a point of making sure none of my people make promises unless it's absolutely 100% a guarantee.

And when I asked him if it's a possibility I was given a run around non-answer. I'll just wait for him to confirm it's a possibility, simple stuff.

A successful company makes money by selling product and delivering it.

The only time you need money to make money is a Ponzi scheme.
I completely disagree with you here friend.
In most cases you need money to get a business off the ground, and you need money accessible to keep things going. This is why banks make a killing on small business loans. It's not uncommon to be in the red for the first few years either.

Once upon a time I managed a small bar and we made 10 cents profit per beer. Profit margins can be pretty small and just selling and delivering products doesn't guarantee you're going to be successful or do well. People who are doing well still go under.

You are giving him the run around by not answering the simple question.

You are fan of a proven scamming con-artist? Why?

Now I have formally asked.

I explained I would answer when a certain easy criteria was met. I appreciate your formal inquiry. I'll be happy to answer once I get to Craytab. If he can't offer that he's open minded enough to accept that my reason could be legitimate then I'll get to you. No problem.

I've heard that as well however it looks like some people have been slowly getting the larger blades. I'm waiting on one myself.

If I had to guess I would suggest they're accepting risk of putting off losing some time and production associated with finishing up all the large blades (and said people waiting canceling their orders) with pumping out more newer orders and models to shoot up their money in the bank.

Me personally? I'd like to think in their shoes I would just close down production and clear the backlog. However from a business model point of view people aren't canceling those legacy orders en mass and people are still buying up their knives and making pre-orders. Risk vs reward. Some people here have said they will never buy from them.No doubt there are plenty others out there that feel the same.
The retailers that get shipments of their knives don't see them in stock very long.
Interestingly, they made claims years back that they were going to do exactly this. You can search out Ellie's posts on it, and while you're there, you can also locate her posts where she stated in multiple instances that they would no longer take preorders. This is all on record.

But as my bud Pàdruig Pàdruig mentioned, it was never long before they were back with another post talking about how excited Guy was to bring you a new model and they'll be taking preorders right away, so don't wait! Sign up for your years long wait today!

Did you make people preorder beer? When someone stepped up to the bar and ordered a beer, did you take their money, then ask them to take a seat off to the side for a week or two? Where did the money come from to restock your bar?

Man, the path to this patch of water is completely worn down, let's see if he drinks this time.

The rest of us answered your questions. We deserve an answer to ours, otherwise you’re just playing games and wasting everybody’s time. Sh!t or get off the pot.

Troll. Obviously, this person is just here to play games and shill. It is totally full of BS and adds ZERO value to the conversation.

Pull a Survive! Answer me first and then answer cray in the next few days, weeks, months or years.

Not exactly. In one instance the owner asked the staff to pay for a order of beer and alcohol and he would pay us back with profits. That was a hard no from the staff and the owner came up with the money somewhere else and we picked up the order. It was a cycle of selling stock and using slim profits to restock. It was very tangible. Years later I was going to split on a bar with a buddy of mine and remembered how shitty the bar business was so I passed. Part of the decision was because buddy didn't have a lot of cash on hand if things got sour for a bit.

Of course I see what you're implying and don't disagree.

Oh won't you just please tell us why you are in love with guybag the scam artist? Waiting with bated breath...
Is there a possibility you'll accept my answer as a valid reason? Or is your mind already made up and you're just wasting time with rhetorical questions?
