My guess is that money is long gone, and there is no urgency in getting them out.For the life of me I can't understand why Survvie! isn't banging out those legacy orders. It's annoying because I want people to get their knives and I want Survive to do good. If it actually is the large knives (and TSKs?) then just smash them out and be done with it. People will still complain and hold a spotlight to their past but at least it won't be something significant like years old orders.
I think I'm waiting on a GSO 10. If they decided it's not worth pausing their production of the other stuff they're making and offered everyone a refund I'd be fine with that. I'm not going to wait and wait and wait though.
Two months turns in to five. Good to see nothing has changed.2 months ago claims were made that 5.1 would be shipping. This was posted 7 days ago.

This^ is how "legacy" orders are "completed".Explains why they can't clear the books, they aren't ever going to make those old knives, just trying to find those to refund and count as complete.

And if someone asks for a refund, ignore them for a month because they have no recourse, sell some more pre-order knives, refund a few people, and mark those orders as complete! My guess is that money is long gone, and there is no urgency in getting them out.
I saw a comment on the DBK video where a customer was asking where their knife was, and another poster suggested cancelling and re-ordering a new one. Lolz. And if someone asks for a refund, ignore them for a month because they have no recourse, sell some more pre-order knives, refund a few people, and mark those orders as complete!
Sounds like a great 6-year interest-free loan. No need for that pesky approval process either, I wonder why every business doesn't do this?"Hey look, we are safe to order from now. We've been getting orders completed! Give us your money!"
(takes money, refunds 6 year old order, marks as complete in production schedule, uses schedule to sell more pro-orders, refunds more 6 year old orders, marks as complete, uses completed order as evidence to sell more pre-orders, and on and on and on....you see how this works)

I also see a lot of comments getting erased, and also a comment from Guy that the newer knives are superior compared to the old ones anyway.
It's just a constant stream of excuses.
Surprised my comment isn’t blocked yet. They make a great product. Problem is there business practices. They have built a business misleading customers into far more orders than they could fulfill. Not just once but continued to do so for years. All while using social media to block anything negative. There is a very sizable group of dissatisfied people not being heard. Do your research including the BBB before making a preorder.
"Apparently, kydex changed their chemistry a bit" - that's just brilliant deflection - of course it's the a actual source of standard kydex material that's holding things up....I bet the countless other users of kydex are also having this same issue?...of course they are....
