Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

You're the believer - Why don't you reach out, to their sub contractor (Armory Plastics) to get the name of their kydex source?
And if I come back and say I reached out and they supported Survive!'s explanation will anyone believe me?
I'll get asked for proof, and if I provide it will it be taken at face value? Or will I get accused of photo shopping it, or setting up fake emails?

Better for you or anyone else that hates survive to reach out. Thanks.

There are very few things in this world that I hate, as understand what the word and the intention means, so it's a behavior that I do not assume lightly. Survive is not worth my hatred, merely my disdain.

I can't speak for what other individuals will do with said kydex info - believe it or not - but, why come back to this thread if your worried about how others perceive your efforts?

Survive cronies get their knives because it helps keep the ponzi scheme going (duh).
or just ''say'' they recieved and sold actual knifes? without any knifes exchanging hands? just updating a webpage maybe?

I dont know. I'm probably wrong about faking inventory turnover

It's a whinny victim troll manipulation.
That's what I am left concluding....if one abject testiment is true and honest with their efforts, yet no one believes, then get on with life and screw this thread as a waste of time.

But, no, keep coming back and stating that no one will believe you, because of hate. Or bias. Or zealotry. Or what ever buzzword that can be thought of to inflame the other posters in this thread.

Thanks. I'm glad I asked, I would have put links.

-Northwest Knives had a bunch of 5.1s and 4.5s in stock, believe the July and August time frame but they're gone now. All listed on their website as out of stock.
-Edgeworks had a bunch of the same in stock in the same timeframe as well. They had a couple left at the beginning of this month, the rest were out of stock.
-BSS had their specific GSO5s in stock for a while.
-There were one, maybe two other smaller companies that carried some but I can't remember them and I was banned on the facebook group I was on that had the links (ironically for recommending people cancel their orders or take the legal route).

If people are still waiting on pre-orders for 5.1s (and 4.5s) it begs the question why did these companies (minus BSS) get them in stock in large quantities? Did the companies order them years ago or recently?

This is interesting. Northwest knives appears to be a new company, formed in 2022 (I didn't look longer than 15 seconds). They're also located in Meridian Idaho, 2.3 miles from Survive!'s shop. (Also recall Survive! said they're working on other machine projects and orders between their own orders).

Edgeworks also looks new (at least an updated webpage from 2022) however they're a good 2300 miles from Survive!.
Northwest Knives has been in it's current location for several years. Definitely not a new company. Believe they relocated here from Oregon a few years ago.
Vaguely remember seeing that brand there at one point. Was surprised to see them somewhere IIRC.

The question you beg has been answered multiple times over in this thread and the previous threads regarding Survive.

If you don't yet know the answer then you don't want to know the answer.

Thanks for the insight.

Yes, hence it begs the question. It's already been answered.

Out of curiosity I'm going to reach out and ask when those two companies placed their orders for the 5.1s and 4.5s

I mean, in his very first post he told us what he was here to do:

Been quiet around here. Probably time for Survive Fan-Boy post to get the blood boiling.

New plastic recipe from Kydex®. That's just a new twist on the old "sheaths are the only thing stopping us from shipping orders years old even though we are shipping 2nds and 3rds just fine" excuse.

But you heard it guys, get out there and vet this new excuse. Right quick!
If there was only a quick and easy way to prove that the blades were ready to go. Some kind of device that could somehow capture an image of the finished knives.

Perhaps this would be a good marketing campaign for them to copy:

Is stuff like that a gimmick or does it actually protect the blades and help with corrosion resistance?

..... you mean like any lubricating oil which can also prevent the formation of corrosion on metal works ?

If you examine the bottle (I have no intention of buying it) there is a 95+% chance it is simply another very basic product packaged up as knife specific. Much like the very well known brand name here selling ibuprofen who had to pay out some $s for their false advertising when they sold (at a premium) individual Migraine, Period, Backpain etc versions of their product at a premium price but when you looked at the packet it simply contained the very very very same ibuprofen that the base product did. Scratch the surface and most lubricating products no matter their "specific function packaging" are simply just another lubricant that you can probably buy 10 litres of for the same price you pay for that little bitty bottle that gives people a bit of a tingle in their panties because it's "special".

On Kydex..... you would think that all the companies that make use of the product in it's original function - ie not sheaths and other do dad holders - would be bleating loudly about this monumental change halting production....not to mention all the other sheath makers here on this forum.

Perhaps someday in the future that will exist. Personally I am working on a portable visual image caputurizer but getting some pushback about people worried it's stealing their souls.

I will approach Survive with an offer since as far as I can determine they're utterly soulless.
