You have once again missed the point here. Their business model is to take payment in full up front and use that money as an interest free loan. They use that interest free loan to fulfill old orders, and live on, while soliciting new orders to repeat the cycle. It is a ponzi scheme. They are con-artists.

You cannot separate their business finances from how they screw over customers. They are one and the same.

And you are talking to a bunch of people who have been here from the beginning. I can remember your posts from back then. I bought from them when they were in Gettysburg. Quiet has been on their ass since day one, like most of us here.
 
Was the ground done with the delta 3V heat treat or normal 3V heat treat. I wonder if it was a 6 year push or a 6 year fall? Survive Knives is still up to the same ole tricks. I can see it now the 3 month wait is turning into one year then they will contact them and they will say we "expect" it in the 1st quarter then they will post a set back then by Christmas of this year and then go silent till April where they will do more models to pay any taxes and raise more money to make a few happy. This will happen year after year till people stop sending in donations for their crooked ways.

Lesson learned and the 5 knife-makers and 2 sheath-makers on these forums I have bought from in the last few months have been great to deal with.

Truly sad that they can't keep their word in the slightest and then when you ask where is my knife they say oh we never promised a delivery date. All that expect to ship in 90days is a lie or even 9 months is a lie. Just how many times have they gone on media and said the backlog or production taking longer than several months was a lie too. If you are part of the in-crowd then you might get it in 120 days so they can come here and boast how fast they got it. Those people are few and they simply do not care at all if you ask for a refund or where is your knife. I am sure they are defrauding anyone they are in business with.

Yes I ordered from them in 2014-15 and it took 8 months to get the product. I think even you and I gave them some slack when this first started. They refuse to reply to people because their words are getting used against them and shows the pattern of lies and damn lies at that. I remember the FB page where they use to post and comment on things then they took it down. Then the fans only page and they kicked people off for asking questions on that page.

Delivery went from 2 years was not long then 3 years and just as I said then the wait would go longer and longer because they would not stop taking orders and new models and some models never got made like the SK model. They change steels at will and say that will add to the wait. I gave them years to get their act together till I said no more. I even contacted Guy and he would not do right by me and he only wanted me to send in money when they changed their refund policy. Their product is decent but it's not a Randall quality or name item and they state it will only take 3 to 4 months not 3 to 4 years.

I told Survive if they would not do as they told me that I would go to social media and tell it all and they said go ahead. They figured they could control FB comments but this Forum gives people a voice. I can't believe 7 years since the major BS started for me and they are still at it.

Does anyone remember the F1 folding knife from 2019. I wonder how those people feel about it not even starting yet. If it takes 5 years once they start production to get the item out these people are in for a long wait. I hope I am wrong and that they did complete the project for the sake of the customers no I mean victims.

I think that went out the door after survive ruined millit.
 
I payed for 3 knives back in september 2022. GSO 3.5, GSO 5.1 and GSO 4.5. I got my GSO 3.5 about 4 months later, man, that is one of the best fit and finish knives I have ever owned, if not the best. 3V steel, G10 handle, perfection. And than, I managed to get somehow (I was lucky I gues!) a large GSO 8 (which I didnt preorder at all) in 3V, it was like few leftover from the batch or something.... but knife is flawless, perfect design, perfect fit and finish. But I am still waiting for my 5.1 and 4.5, and no response for Survive for 2 months on multiple mails I sent, nothing.... I will ask them to refund my orders, because I was expecting those to be delivered within 3 months (it is 7months now passed) according to their time production table. So, I have mixed feelings. I have 2 knives from them, I know people was waiting ages for GSO8, and I got one without preorder. I love the knives, love perfect fit and finish, but I hate lack of communication (not a single answer in 2 months) and not knowing when will next knife will be delivered. I dont know. I have 2, and when they get back on tracks, I will consider buying again, until than I dont know. I read a alot of negative comments, trying to not believe them, but more and more I see some strange things.....

Why would I be suspitious? I never read any forums about them. I saw DBK video promoting them (never heard of them before), fell in love with gso5.1 (which I never got). So, OK, I waited 4 months for my first knife, which was reasonable time, then I got unexpectedly GSO8, why would I be suspitious? Then after email silence for 2 months (I dont count youtube updates, magnacut problems etc...), and then I started to look on forums what is going on.... Now I see I might be wrong, but try not to believe because they deliver realy premium product which is perfect in any way (if you are lucky to get it I guess LOL).

It’s going to add up for you sooner or later.

There’s people with orders for knives who haven’t seen their knife for 8 years. They are still waiting.

S!K knives persists because either
1) people aren’t aware of their bullshit
2) people happen to luck out and get their knife, so, sorry e’rybody else!

You want a phenomenal knife made by good people? Check out Carothers or Busse.

The owner of S!K has a criminal record for stealing guns and trying to sell them. I believe in forgiveness, but that sumbitch is the same sumbitch you’re waiting on to get you your knives.

S!K has been pushing this narrative since 2013. They want you think that changes are just around the corner, and when (insert future date / event here) everything will be better. Unfortunately, since the inception of the business, S!K has been missing delivery dates and providing piss-poor customer service.

Like many posters here, I agree that they make a nice knife at a nice price. The problem is, the business model is not sustainable and Guy and Ellie say things that are not accurate. Buy at your own risk.
