Holy crap now the internet itself has failed them? Cell providers also? These poor, poor charlatans...er I mean honest and hard working business people. Will their suffering at the hands of a cruel and uncaring universe never end?It looks like they are finaly back on track, I just got email from them:

Hey Everybody! We know things have been a bit quiet lately, so we wanted to take a minute to let you know that production is still going smoothly behind the scenes. We’ve been working tirelessly to enhance our production workflow, both inside and outside of the shop: tightening up our supply chain, improving communication with our major vendors, and also taking care of much needed equipment maintenance. With everything now wrapping up, you can expect a huge update within the next few days.
We're all sick to death of production delays and we know you are too, so we've taken some pretty drastic steps to ensure we'll be able to serve you better moving forward. We very much appreciate your patience during this transitional period.
And there is explanation why they didnt answer all the emails:

Regarding messages/phonecalls: Please bear with us for just a minute. Cell phone service has been a bit spotty and the internet is currently down. We have a technician coming tomorrow to ensure we have good internet/phone coverage throughout the shop and we are also now actively on the hunt for a new team member to help with customer relations.
End of quote.
(of course I am beeing sarcastic).
I wonder if it has occurred to them that the fact that they were able to post this hot trash means that they could have been answering emails* at the very least, exposing the same old lies they always spew. Oops!! I guess that when Ellie said "spotty", she meant "We can push out these garbage regurgitation updates, but sorry, our outgoing email is broken. Don't worry, we're working to improve processes!!"Holy crap now the internet itself has failed them? Cell providers also? * Especially since even if cell service was "spotty", the email client on the phone would still update every time it was able to make contact with the server.![]()
Right? Also, Ellie appears not to realize that they'd be able to tether a cell phone and use it as a wifi hotspot if needed. "Spotty" doesn't mean "out". So ultimately, just more nonsense that only their diehard fan shills would believe, honestly. She meant the other spots.
Same old regurgitated crap from years past.QUOTE:

That might explain why they're cereal liars! Are they still located in Kellogg, Idaho?

Accurate.Incidentally, here's a couple of tidbits for those folks just joining us.
Looking at the numbers above, it's important to keep a few things in mind:
All of the tiny, incremental increases in completion for all these years? That's not knives being made, that's them giving refunds and then considering this an order filled. Remember, on the DBK Scumbag!Knives YouBoob video comments, Guy/Ellie made this assertion themselves. It's been screenshotted and posted here, so feel free to search back through. "You don't know that, maybe they're making batches of knives and getting them to customers!" Really? Ok. So. If everything the defenders have been bleating in this thread were true, I have questions. Questions like, how difficult would it be for Guy to get off his ass, pull his product order list up, see exactly what was outstanding from those years, bang those out, deliver them, and close out the books? How hard would that be? Why hasn't he done this for ALLLL these years of backlog his company has? Why is 2018 the only year in which 100% of all orders were fulfilled? Why didn't they go back and finish all outstanding orders from 2015-2017?
See what I mean? This chart that remember, they themselves publish is really actually showing all the ways they continue to screw with people. See, here's what I think: they aren't ever going to actually make the knives from those years old orders. In fact, it would surprise me if they even knew concretely what they still owed people. I think they're going to keep these numbers riding, and when people with those old orders finally get fed up with the wait (or remember they had an order in the first place) and request a refund, S?K will count those orders as completed, and close these years out. I think that's why you're seeing such small incremental changes. I mean, seriously? 2015, they did an entire "0.3%" in two months? Why didn't they simply make the entire one percent of knives (allegedly) left from that year?
These people are bums, and that's never going to change. They're never going to be "back on track". They were never on that ish to begin with.
I think I tried to preorder a GSO 8 in 2014 or 2015 and those who endured waited 8 years. I am not angry that you got your order. I ordered a GSO 5.1 in May 2016 and here it is 3/23 and they are not done yet but I got a refund because of complaints on social media. I have a 7/7 , 5.0, and 3.5. Yes I would like to see a chunk of magnacut but that was a ruse to get people to send money in. They have no intent of getting 100% of the orders out they count on refunding the money and only doing like 10% of the orders at some point. I no longer care about 3V from Survive as there are many out there that can do the job. Hell I will take A2 or AEB-L out there and do it all without fear of failure of the blade, Great Northern Knives has many good knives for sale. The AK Scout knife in AEB-L by William Collins can do anything the GSO 5 can do and it can be customized in 4 months. LT Wright makes some good blades too. I am one of the few that have a Genesis in Magnacut and it is a slicer with good durability for EDC Chores. I can't advise you on your outstanding orders but you are in for a long long wait.I payed for 3 knives back in september 2022. GSO 3.5, GSO 5.1 and GSO 4.5. I got my GSO 3.5 about 4 months later, man, that is one of the best fit and finish knives I have ever owned, if not the best. 3V steel, G10 handle, perfection. And than, I managed to get somehow (I was lucky I gues!) a large GSO 8 (which I didnt preorder at all) in 3V, it was like few leftover from the batch or something.... but knife is flawless, perfect design, perfect fit and finish. But I am still waiting for my 5.1 and 4.5, and no response for Survive for 2 months on multiple mails I sent, nothing.... I will ask them to refund my orders, because I was expecting those to be delivered within 3 months (it is 7months now passed) according to their time production table. So, I have mixed feelings. I have 2 knives from them, I know people was waiting ages for GSO8, and I got one without preorder. I love the knives, love perfect fit and finish, but I hate lack of communication (not a single answer in 2 months) and not knowing when will next knife will be delivered. I dont know. I have 2, and when they get back on tracks, I will consider buying again, until than I dont know. I read a alot of negative comments, trying to not believe them, but more and more I see some strange things.....
The more they make announcements the more they show their true colors and they can only fool people that are not informed. This is the reason I come to this thread over and over. Hey Survive I bet you wished you would have fulfilled my order like you said you would years ago. It's been 5 years and I am still letting people know the truth I gave Guy several chances to make things right but he wont, can't , and doesn't care.Accurate.
File a BBB complaintAfter reading some of the comments on here I wrote to Survive and cancelled the two outstanding orders I had and asked for a refund (close to $500). The orders are over a year old and I haven't heard back from those jokers yet. Has anyone called and actually spoken with them? Meanwhile I'm going to investigate any possible legal recourse to get my money back.
Very true. I had planned to buy 4 of their models, and let them know that when communicating with them about not fulfilling my 5.1 order. They do not care. After the fiasco I had, and learning how they have treated so many people I would pass on an inexpensive used one now simply because I wouldn’t want to show any support for them. The more they make announcements the more they show their true colors and they can only fool people that are not informed. I wouldn't. I've seen some crazy numbers from that site, they dramatically overstate revenue generation in my experience. The company generates 6 million dollars a year and they can’t make knives for people? Absolutely insane. I don’t believe it.
