Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

One of my favorite videos, the crying about BF's starts around the 20:20 mark 🤣

"We're very much back in the same crowd funding situation I was several years ago where we're poised for growth again - we're meeting our goa... we're crushing our goals right now."

So there you have it ladies and gents. Anyone buying S!K knives is crowd funding S!K. They see all that money as crowd funding.
I suspect the only reason why Guy thinks he was crushing his goals was because his goals weren't getting people the knives that they paid for.

"we want to flip peoples perspective on this business... ...Just like we did with BladeHQ... They were so blown away it took them 3 days to process what they saw".

I would LOVE to see what was so mind blowing at S!K that BladeHQ had to sit around for 3 days just contemplating the miracle that is S!K.

"Call us, email us... give us an opportunity."

I think we all know how emailing S!K goes- turns out they're working too hard to answer them.
I love watching them beg for opportunities they haven't earned.

"We've cleared the cancer"

Aug 9, 2021. April 11, 2023. big reveal; S!K is the cancer.

"Now that Survive is standing on it's own, as a manufacturer, this is your opportunity, now, to watch us fail or succeed and there's nobody else for us to blame other than ourselves... and our current situation."

And if you thought for a second that they would stop blaming other people, S!K wants you to know that they have a knife they could sell you.

Great post.

S!K (Guy and Ellie, and for a while Shane) have made so many posts and videos that are riddled with unfulfilled commitments and predictions that never happened. At this point, it is bizarre that anyone would believe anything they said.

It's called tolerance stack, the fact they are taking this long to figure this stuff out is amazing.
I'm not surprised- I'm not sure he's got any experience as a machinist or draftsman, and it seems pretty obvious to me that he's unskilled.

"This is what happened when... you put a 10 or 12 dollar an hour person on a CNC machine that doesn't know what their doing, what their looking at or how to use measuring tools or... even bothering to measure anything."
What he's saying is he hired an untrained person, and didn't train them, and is blaming a "10-12 dollar an hour" employee.

Make some damn jigs and just make some friggin' repeatable processes.

Nothing is ever his fault.

This is what pushed me over the edge. These people are totally clueless. How they are still in business remains one of the greater mysteries of life.

...Just in case anyone wanted to know what goes into putting a Survive! knife together.

Now if someone could just inform Guy that the information's on his shirt, that'd be great.

no. he actually blames Millit (sp?) for this in the comments of the video.

It would be highly interesting to climb inside the inner psychological workings of this operation. What makes them think that putting the customer off (time and time again) will eventually extricate themselves from their problems with filling orders? Do they feel that their numerous justifications will white-wash all of these stains and blemishes on their now voluminous but tarnished record witnessed here on BF? The paper trail and testimony of scores of displeased knife lovers isn't just going to vanish in thin air unless the world comes to a halt. And what about the massive competition waiting in the wings?

Why not just come clean, refund the money or fill the orders in prompt fashion? Or hire someone to actually answer the huge numbers of emails that have remained unanswered! Being oblivious to your customer base can't bode well for their feeble attempt to regain footing. Even if you did hire a host of folk to reboot this company you'd be trekking up hill all the way. Even Atlas himself would have trouble mustering the power to buttress Survive Knives.
You‘re attempting to use logic to describe the actions of psychopaths.

The people running this alleged company are thieves and liars. Nothing more.
