Sounds like there's a guy who's unfortunately dying of cancer before he can get a S!K.

Does anyone know if the cerakote 3v blades have been decarborized like that bad batch of magnacut? I got it before finding this thread, it's a 4.5 that has black cerakote. I'm wondering if they coated it to hide decarb or HT issues.
They screwed up dropping the delta HT.

I don't believe so, at least I didn't hear anything about it.
But this is S!K we're talking about, so who knows what they're covering up?

Your best bet is to sell it.

Years ago, I worked in a store where whenever a customer was upset, the boss would blame Joe.
"Joe messed things up so bad, I had to fire him last week. We're still trying to fix all his screw ups."
Poor Joe had just been fired a week ago for the two years I worked there (if he ever existed in the first place.)

You ever hear the expression "if you run into one a-hole, you ran into an a-hole. If everyone you run into is an a-hole, it's probably you."? Reminds me a lot of Survive!
 
I have had my own run in with this brand. I saw someone list them as in stock on reddit, so I checked it out, and saw a little fixed blade in magnacut for a decent price. I jumped on it. The knife was listed as "in stock". I placed the order on Saturday April 8th. Then I started seeing all of the complaints about them, and realized that this order was a bad move. So I emailed them to cancel my order. Here we are on Friday the 14th with no reply to my cancellation, and no shipping information. I just went ahead and disputed it with my credit card. So it's not even pre-orders that are bad...it's all of it.
