I think the question is are they really working on seconds or are the seconds really firsts that they are selling a second time while retaining money and not shipping or refunding money to the early buyers?Glad you got yours.
S!K is currently filling orders for seconds. Every minute that they spend on seonds is time that they could be spending on filling orders from 2015 - 2023. They are choosing to fill NEW orders before orders that are almost a decade old. They ignore customers that want refunds.
If you order a second you will probably get it. That does not make S!K a "good" company. It does not make Guy and Ellie reliable. If you order a knife from S!K you have a significantly less that 100% chance of getting your order. S!K has been operating this way for a decade.
DING DING DING! We have a winner! This sounds like it is ABSOLUTELY what they are doing.I think the question is are they really working on seconds or are the seconds really firsts that they are selling a second time while retaining money and not shipping or refunding money to the early buyers?
Quit supporting a shitty company- problem solved.so dont preorder it. buy whats in stock. problem solved.
Spare me, shill.so dont preorder it. buy whats in stock. problem solved.
so dont preorder it. buy whats in stock. problem solved.
I agree. The persons supporting the shitty company (let's call them ShittyCo!) are being shitty themselves. Just what we need - moar a$$oles in the world.Quit supporting a shitty company- problem solved.
Don't support crooks and con artists so they can continue conning others and ripping people off. Problem solved.so dont preorder it. buy whats in stock. problem solved.
Three bits of evidence combined convince me that this is exactly what they’re doing: the number of aging pre-orders not getting fulfilled, the significant number of ‘in stock factory seconds’ that are getting filled, and the number of people getting those factory seconds claiming they can’t find any issues with them to justify calling them seconds. Shady, shady, shady.I think the question is are they really working on seconds or are the seconds really firsts that they are selling a second time while retaining money and not shipping or refunding money to the early buyers?
You’re either trolling, or you’ve got a bit of cognitive impairment going on there. If it’s the latter, I’d get that checked, because you’re not far from full-on dementia.so dont preorder it. buy whats in stock. problem solved.
I hope that member is able to unload it.I agree. The persons supporting the shitty company (let's call them ShittyCo!) are being shitty themselves. Just what we need - moar a$$oles in the world.
I felt bad for a reputable member of the foums who was selling a used ShittyCo! knife last month, as many people refused to consider the used one even though the ShittyCo! wasn't seeing any of the money, so seller kept dropping the price.
He did sell it, for about 80% of where he started at, I think.I hope that member is able to unload it.
I wouldn’t buy one at any price because I want to feel somewhat good about what I use/carry. Liars and cheats should not be supported in any manner. I wish more folks would see the truth behind the shady business before shelling out money.
There are many fantastic knife makers who are honest and ethical. Absolutely no reason to support a company as shady as Guy’s.
Better to sell at a loss than to own a knife tied to such bad people. He did sell it, for about 80% of where he started at, I think.
Ouch! that ones gonna leave a mark. You’re either trolling, or you’ve got a bit of cognitive impairment going on there. If it’s the latter, I’d get that checked, because you’re not far from full-on dementia.
Great advice and thank you for keeping this thread informed.Just to update, after two appeals since submitting initial dispute on 06DEC2023, PayPal decided in my favor and is issuing me a full refund today, 23DEC2023.
So my recommendation: even if PayPal initially denies your claim on the basis of their 180 day policy, you should persevere and appeal. I would also recommend providing links to BBB business profile, this and other pertinent threads, and your case number for complaint filed with PA Attorney General’s.
I regret giving Survive the benefit of the doubt and can only hope others realize at this point, they don’t deserve a second chance. Best of luck to others dealing with these criminals.
Only if you selfishly care just about yourself. Those in stock knives have already been paid for once, you are giving thieves money a second time for the same item. Not to mention keeping the conartists in business so they can scam other people. But you don't care about that, so long as you get yours....so dont preorder it. buy whats in stock. problem solved.
