Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

Getting caught up on this thread; what in tardnation. It's actually impressive Guy and Ellie managed to keep this scam going this long. Wow. Just wow. How long have they been at this scheme? 6 to 10 years? They can't get their crap together in almost a decade? Ok.
But they are, honest, and they'll soon be posting a video explaining everything and will be sending out all orders on a great new schedule, honest. And they really really double pinky swear mean it this time! Also, special sale on
knives they owe customers seconds.

That's the extremely frustrating part. It's one thing to unknowingly give them your money. It's entirely another to willfully and knowingly support a ponzi'esque scheme. Rolls eyes, bless their heart.

So I am just going to throw this into the cosmos. They are clearly shady as hell, have been that way for years and despite all the people willing to give them a pass or actively run interference here for them (in the past when they had their own forum here) they are still so blatantly shady, how long is it before they have an IRS issue ? I say that not as an allegation of unpaired taxes or tax fraud but simply acknowledging that so much of their demonstrated behaviour goes hand in glove with taxation issues. I mean “Al Capone” right….
The IRS is a funny question. How do they juggle taxes paid on a "Pre-paid" knife then give a refund the next year or 2 or 3?
I have no doubt that their books are such a mess, it would take a small army of IRS agents to go through it....

"Communications Update: It has come to our attention that we had a misunderstanding in the workshop and messages were getting missed for longer than we had realized while Tyler was taking care of a personal matter. We apologize for the delays in getting back to you and will be working to get caught up as soon as we can."

After a decade of dodging customer requests for refunds and not reliably responding to any form of communication, now they are blaming their lack of communication on "Tyler," who has been working at S!K for a few months.

Guy and Ellie are nothing if not consistent.

S!K hasn't made any comments on Facebook in a few days. I am not sure what happened to "Tyler." He was really active for a few days, then went silent. I wonder if he is still an important part of the S!K team.

Only one thing to do- demand Tyler be called in during a livestream, accuse him of this whole mess and fire him on the spot. Since it's Tyler's fault and all. Because I really want to see what Tyler has to say once hes out in his car and turns on his own phone.
 
I hate watch all these videos and can't wait until it burns.

With that said, I'm so confused. Guy says he has a surplus of EDC4s...why would you not make GSO5.1 models?

You know, the model everyone ordered and put you on the radar.

I guess he'd have to actually send out existing orders rather than take new money.

Just seem silly, give the people what they want...he can't even do the simplest of business tasks.
 
Guy is also sending knives to retailers and getting people to post videos of he can.

WhatsthePPOINT_EDC on YouTube is keeping the scam alive.

He had a dozen or more Survive! Knives for sell on his webpage...I wonder who's orders Guy stole those from.

Comments are all, "gotta get one"...

I think AlaskanFrontier1 (YouTube) did a good job explaining why people should NOT pre-order knives from Survive!. I hope would be buyers see that video, and think twice before locking themselves into a frustrating, long wait time.

Now they are blaming "the realities of the world." I don't have time to watch Guy bloviate this morning, but I am willing to bet he will not even mention their current tacit policy of not responding to refund requests or answering phones.
 
He imagined people would sit down and silently wait indefinitely for a knife they will never get but the reality is people want what they spent their money on or they want that money back.
 
Oh what sad times when investors only care about knives and not a quality knife manufacturer addressing deficiencies caused by laziness and incompetence in the industry.

WhatsthePPOINT_EDC on YouTube is hardcore shilling for Guy in the comments and on other S!K reviews on YouTube. I am not sure what his deal is with Guy, but he is going out of his way to tell anyone that will listen how awesome S!K is.

Heey good morning everybody,
A quick update on things from the shop this morning. Well, as you saw in our previous videos, we were set to finish the backlog, go debt free, solve world hunger and maybe cold fusion.

Unfortunately there have been some issues that I am now ready to talk about. A hose let go on one of our machines that needs to be fixed and neither the machine or hose manufacturer are getting behind it.

Nobody else in the industry would have the courage or transparency to discuss this but dagnammit we will at Survive.

We will absorb this as far as we can but WILL NOT take on any more predatory lending or compromise quality so you should complain about delays to the hose and machine manufacturer.

Oh, and please preorder more knives to support us.
