Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

He is circling the drain and like most lunatics they start flinging crap as they do so. He has a loooong documented history of being untruthful/fanciful/a liar. No reason to speculate different here. His experience of them ruining his (already ruined) business is scapegoating I suspect as his narcissism won’t allow him to think otherwise.

Y'alls interest in this is driving my interest.

I love a good drama.

Calling out CPM with the balls hanging.

Remember I'm a spectator in this.

You guys live a tough life. Knife making.

A poster above mentioned if any body had gotten a Pre order and not an In stock knife. The only Survive knife I got was a GSO 8 which came in after a year of waiting, 13 months to be exact. It was the reason I was still at 50/50 chance of me getting my GSO 12. Man what a Shitshow, Guy is really losing it. Glad I didn't order any more.

BTW, Guy has taken down the video containing the text from the president of NSM. He is also getting really combative in the comments (often deleting posts after he makes them). No surprise, he is also blaming Millit for the backlog on the older knives, despite the fact that he did not "partner" Millit until 2019 and he has open orders from 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 (and every year since).

This continues to spiral into crazyland...

That's good to know, I hadn't seen an update.

Yeah, I could see if there was some issue with magnacut given it's new to the market. Then it was also 20CV and 3V, and they were knives done by third parties at the time...I think.

He says he's sending the knives to a third party for testing. Wonder what's going to happen with that?
If I recall correctly (I can't make myself go back and watch more videos) Guy [said he] got some of his cerakote knives scanned for imperfections and [said] they were fine.

Edited when I remembered whose info I am providing

Thank you. That was me asking. You are the second person to respond. Other person waited 3-4 years. I won't ask how many are still waiting and how long because that would be a really long list. I was just wondering who actually got something from a fully paid preorder.

It sounds like he gave them the option to "buy" out his samples and likely this was established at the time the samples were sent off and an agreement that is part of the whole receiving and testing of the samples and NSM doesn't have to return them they only have to pay him, or attempt to pay him his refusal of their money does not force them to return the samples. I make this guess based on the fact testing of the samples can be destructive or damaging meaning whoever provided the samples is out the material and expects return of material in same state it left or financial compensation. Now if we consider that and look at how combative he has been with NSM it is very understandable that an attorney would advices to use the option to pay for the materials vs return. You also need to consider it is a requesting asking to return them to someone stating they intend to do their own testing on the same said samples this opens up possible claims that NSM damaged the material prior to return or using damage from more destructive testing to claim a fault on NSM. There are far more reasons stacked to side with the idea of paying out for the samples than the return of any samples.

I also am amused that he says he won't do this through litigation he will just show "facts" which is really saying I will attempt to drag your name through the mud and ruin your reputation until you help buy all these unfinished knives.

If it was about sunken cost and supposed standards of quality the blanks could very likely be ground to a new thickness and shape and sold as a new model to profit from that sunken cost. The preorders these knives were meant for could be refunded or offered the replacement steel option. The real issue is there is always a scapegoat the problem is never his fault which just is a near statistical impossibility.

It would appear that there is no universe in which Survive! comes out the winner in a rational, fact based examination of the evidence.

They may believe that their regularly posted up, (and subsequently removed), arguments carry the day in their own mind, but I fear it may be a very different outcome in a court of law, should it come to that.

At this point, a betting man might gamble that Survive! Knives doesn't even have the means to have a battle in the courtroom.
I'm guessing he's on the ropes.

He’s stated numerous times that he doesn’t have the money for an attorney.

Also stated he doesn’t have the money to have sheaths made for knives according to him that have been completed and ready to ship since 2020.

If he’s so broke that he can’t afford sheath work, how in the hell is he going to afford the Euro steel that he keeps bleating about… Oh, that’s right, more pre orders 🤣
