I have to agree, if you like the knives by all means go and enjoy them. Coming to this thread and singing their praises (knives or company) won’t win you any supporters nor change their minds.

These fellows praising SK should place a large order of a couple hundred knives with Guy and go ahead and pay up front. That way they can resell those knives at a profit thus proving their point and supporting Guy financially. Should be a win for everyone, right?

There is a local and online shop they are promoting. Guy was in store selling knives recently. They are showing GSO models he can't make because Bohler is too expensive in the GSO thicknesses.

WhatsthePOINT-EDC did a 2-part shop tour of Survive!. I'm surprised no one has talked about these videos.

These 2 are really trying to spin it. Sad what someone will do for views and free stuff. No conscience for those who are going to get scammed.

WhatsthePOINT_EDC will 100% block you if you are not willing to actively swallow Guy's (insert crude word here). He is 100% a shill. I asked a few questions and challenged WhatsthePOINT_EDC claims about S!K, and he got really defensive and ultimately blocked me.

About the extensive testing of surface grinding wheels...please note, I haven't watched the video.

Any major manufacturer and many resellers of tooling, abrasives, or just about anything else for machining have applications engineers. Their entire job is to look at your process, hear your desired results, and recommend the best product for the job. They may not get it exactly right the first time, or they may provide two or three options and leave it up to you to make a selection from there, but they're extremely helpful and generally fairly passionate about whatever they sell. I know Guy loves to make it seem like he is doing something no one has ever done before by making knives, but it should not have taken extensive testing to find a suitable grinding wheel for his surface grinder. It should have taken a phone call at most.

Showing that Guy is selling to a local shop. They have moved dozens of SURVIVE! knives, all while paid in full customers are waiting.

Nobody said anything about "trying". We're just not going to use this venue to get them free publicity. There are folks who don't care about the outrage, and will just take the path of least resistance to get what they want. Not unlike some businesses.
 
peterbilt knife guy is shilling hard for them too but someone really went after him in the comments and he hasn’t deleted it yet, just making silly replies that make him look like more and more of a guy sycophant
