I will probably listen to this while I run with the dog tonight. I skimmed the transcript and saw that Jon claims that there was a 3800 - 4000 order backlog AFTER he shipped 1000. While I doubt that Jon, Ellie or Guy have truly accurate numbers on the size of the backlog, and that the real number is probably larger, 4000 customers got screwed. It also appears that Jon is promoting the conspiracy theory that there are dark forces at work in the knife industry...

Iā€™m not good with money. But holy crap they took in and lost at least $1 million? This is mind boggling. I thought there were a couple thousand outstanding orders. And they had all the blanks and parts and sheaths and machines and they just needed the time to finish everything. Even at this late date Iā€™m still feeling taken advantage of. Like Iā€™m still getting scammed. What an absolute debacle.

I just watched most of that video and it sounds like Survive is going through its agonal gasps. Also sounds like Guy got John in the end, just like the thousands of customers with no knives or money now.
 
If only there was a warning posted up on the internet somewhere that had highlighted all the issues identified in that videoā€¦.like the piles of untouched blanksā€¦.ā€sheathsā€ ā€¦.lack of actual work getting done vs social media spamming ā€¦..if only !

Lol, John describing how survive was operating without any money at this point, as if that isn't exactly how they have been operated for the last 10 years. "Four knives for the backlog and four knives to sell now so we can eat."

What a shit show. Good riddance.
