We were right he only did enough to keep the con game going, and I said that along with many other for years. That is the reason orders were 98% done and only moved when people asked for a refund showing more completed orders. I was the one that came to this forum with that info because they posted it elsewhere where only fans could see the info. They got mad and went on a fishing trip trying to find out who leaked that info. Yep Mods it was Me. So ban me for not wanting to get ripped off and others too. No amount of money can save a man that doesn't want to make a product to those who ordered them. Guy had a lie for everything and you guys at FB enabled him to rip people off. You did it with anger and pride. The only time people got a finished product in masses is when someone else came in and did the work. Then Guy would run them off after he used them for all he could. He is lazy and a straight up con man according to many. You know if a 100 people told me you were a junkie then I got a right to assume you are a junkie. Well Guy 4500 people are saying that you did them wrong. The only effort Guy put forth was to lure people in to send more money. Ponzi definition confirmed by your partners Guy.

HSTs video was likely well orchestrated to distance HST from him shilling for guy…

AND

Likely a way to help Guy create a paper trail that he was just merely “incompetent” and not a criminal…. Earlier post referred to the lack of mention of any ponzi scheme or shady shit. He made a $35k investment… ha sure, yeah that was it. HSTs video was nothing more than another step in Guys exit plan or whatever he thinks it was.

ETA: also note that HSTs video maybe setting up Guy with all his materials on hand to solicit buyers for it all
 
I guess he can move on to Mary Kay, Amway or Tupperware.
 
His post said winding up... I thought I always heard the saying as winding down when things are ending and winding up when they begin... Not that i expect him to really make sense.
 
Does anything like this happen without buckets of meth and opiates involved, or is this just a standard sober yet incredibly stupid grift?

I know, just do the numbers!!! IT’S EASILY OVER $1 MILLION!

We all know it’s probably over 4000 orders… But for easy numbers let’s just take 400 orders, multiplied by $250 for a lowball number (which is a good number because some cost more than this, and some less up, although most of the order were 5.1s and 12s so they clearly cost more)..
And it’s an excess of over $1 million. Closer to 1.3 million dollars - at a minimum! Probably much higher.

I agree with what was said by someone above… i think HST’s video was a mix of likely facts and most total BS, in order to set up a bankruptcy

The numbers of orders, slow work rate, number of unfinished blades just sitting there, mismanagement early on, Guy using people and discarding them - likely facts

His mental health issues?, autism?, divorce?, savant like knife design abilities?, - most likely total Bull $hit to try to set up a way to hide money with Ellie and shield Guy from legal issues.
 
Maybe the state will send him to prison, where he would report to the prison shop daily to finish knives for his former customers and he will remain until every last order is accounted for. It would probably be a life sentence.

The batch would be marked “Survive /the State Penitentiary”

The crazy thing is, I was just at Blade show Atlanta and I was talking to some of the major knife vendors about this. I even spoke with Niagara about it, and Creely himself, amongst a few other major contenders. Everybody was very polite speaking about it, including Niagara, which considering what was said about them they could’ve been very curt about it. Everyone just kind of shook their head and said how it was such an unfortunate situation.

I was even talking to Bradford about it (That guy is awesome by the way. He’s always at his booths, he’s always representing his products, he stands behind everything he makes 100%, and he’s a super nice guy.) he gave me his take on it and how magnacut has been for him to work with. But he wasn’t disrespectful at any point just like everyone else.

I showed him my GSO 5.1 in magnacut because I was trying to hock it at the convention lol. He even said himself, wow, they make amazing stuff… It’s a shame what’s happened to them. And it was unlikely that they would be around for much longer after the Niagara debacle.

Less than a month later here we are! Crazy!
