Bad Survive! Deserves A Permanent Post In The Hall Of Shame

That's a real possibility, I'm sure several thousand unfulfilled orders that aren't refunded has to qualify for some form of theft or scheme that should run afoul of the law. Though from the video I watched above, there's no money to make anyone whole, not sure what can be done other than jail/restitution that would take them a life time to pay off.
Actually, the clock probably only started today when Guy for the first time declared the orders would not be filled. Up until today, he kept saying and trying to convince everyone they would receive their order.

This has been going on so long I wonder if statutes of limitations have run out in at least some of the cases. I hope not.
The statue of limitations is 5 years on Deceptive or fraudulent business practices. Generally, the statute of limitations starts when the crime occurs. But in circumstances where it's difficult to discover the crime, or a victim might be particularly scared to report it, the law might delay the starting of the time clock or extend the limitations period. The crime starts in PA but can extend into interstate commerce thus becoming a federal matter. His business partner gave the elements of the crime being committed. The mens rhea is proven with his statements of they knew those knives were never going to be completed and still were taking in at least $1000 a month that is a felony under most jurisdictions. The Assistant US District Attorney in PA needs to get in on this investigation. He could end up with thousands of charges but they can lump sum it into a single act of over a million in theft. The AG in PA needs to take this seriously as Guy clearly committed multiple felonies. Who knows what Idaho has in store for him. That would be interstate flight to avoid prosecution.

HST should refund anybody who preordered after he got involved with S!. I don't know how much "clout" this moron has with his whopping 4470 subscribers (in comparison Nutnfancy has 864K subscribers), but if he convinced anybody to give money to a known fraudster, and that he was in any way helping to turn S! around and to be optimisitc about receiving the knife/knives they paid for, then he shares blame for those people being defrauded.

Agreed. If anyone who ordered after he got involved did not get their knife or a refund, he owes them. He told people they were getting same day shipping.

Hopefully many that preordered can dispute the charge on their credit cards.
That is my plan I don't think there is a snowballs chance in hell I will get my money back any other way don't know what my fiance will do as she bought and gave me a $150 gift card to help fund my purchase for my birthday hopefully she can get that back as well but I'm still preparing myself that for the potential I could be taking a total loss on this whole ordeal smh.

I watched Guy’s latest video. He said they had to meet with the PA AGs office. That is direct result of people’s complaints and the links provided here. So everyone here can take some pride in knowing there was a significant role played by BF forum members in helping shut that sheet-show down

Restitution is what's needed...along with judicial consequences. You don't just get to walk away after a litany of excuses over a multi-year period when there was, in fact, no reason not to fulfill the orders taken, (or at the very least, refund them).

(Of course, whether there is ever any action and movement in that direction remains to be seen. PA needs to up its game.)

Elle just walks away, because her name isn't on anything?
It worked for Tammy Faye.

Agreed, he encouraged people to buy into the scam. He's playing the victim and good guy in all this but he saw $$$ potential (even though there was none) and then started advertising for the scam. He admits he ignored all the advice who warned him about survive and moved forward with partnering with survive anyway. I don't feel bad for him.

Now that's interesting. To be a fly on the wall during the conversations with the AG.

100% this. I have waffled on opinion of him. based on his very self serving video, i think he saw easy money / get rich quick opportunity working with S!K. I believe he exaggerated his positive impact on the business, and was more of a vulture than a white knight.
