Honestly, I've seen enough variations of that design from respected makers that I think it's just plain old "tactical"

I cannot, however, for the life of me, make heads or tails of that item in the top right - in between the tiny gun knife and the trio of spider-themed folders.

It was a pretty powerful novelty slingshot ( I probably can't get a replacement double tube set )
That looks like it was made from 30.06 rounds.
The ergonomics suck because it only allows for a hammer grip and you end up with really high forks and it strains your wrist.

The one on top with the zebra pattern on the handle is actually called the " law enforcer " which alone is enough to make it ridiculous.

Hopefully people will realize that their knife isn't necessarily junk because it's overly tacticool-ish, and that everything will be disliked by some.
If they make fun of a knife for its looks or style they're just never gonna like it and we need to except it.
If that can happen then this thread will survive.

I think we can all agree that just because something is ridiculous, stupid, and nearly useless, it can still be a thing we really really really want.

Just because something is "tacticlol" doesn't mean we can't enjoy owning it - it's just good to be intellectually honest enough to laugh at yourself. Heck, I carry a Cold Steel Master Tanto in 3V with some regularity. Realistically, I could easily get by with just the Spyderco Roadie on my keychain, but it's way more fun to use a ELITE TACTICAL INDESTRUCTIBLE POWDER METALLURGY TANTO

Most hideous knife I've seen in a while from the "serious companies". Looks like inbred son of two strider cousins. As if someone at strider shop forgot to cnc/grind the stock.
