This is a killer setup…who made the scales?View attachment 1605679Shredded carbon and resin glow in the dark spacer arrives
looks like a nice worn piece of river gravelSanded the sage 5 carbon laminate scales down to the g10 and rounded the edges. Even more comfortable than before. View attachment 1606741View attachment 1606742
I can understand your issue with smell of the juniper. Personally, I cannot stand the smell of copper, and it drives me crazy that so many things are copper this and copper that. Like ok, I'd like that knife with the upgraded steel but not the copper scales.Made some new stabilized box elder scales for my Le Thiers this past weekend. So much nicer than the smelly juniper scales (sorry Gary).

Still working on aging it to match the rest of the knife, then I'll pin it on![]()
Superb work!! You couldn’t get that knife in a bigger size?Got the pommel pinned on, and some WICKED patina started

I've only been able to find a medium sized Navaja so farSuperb work!! You couldn’t get that knife in a bigger size?![]()
nice work, the pivot pin seems disproportionate to the overall size of the blade?? as the pin for the butt cap has a larger end to it.Got the pommel pinned on, and some WICKED patina started
