nice work, the pivot pin seems disproportionate to the overall size of the blade?? as the pin for the butt cap has a larger end to it.

Same size pinstock as the pivot, I believe (1/8")...I just got better head I may repin the pivot at some point though, just to make you happy

Got the leather wrapped handle done finally after the 3rd attempt, for me this makes the grip feel a lot better, especially on a larger fixed blade.

Ok. So I'm a huge fan of my "customized" ZT 0470, but the carbon fiber insert is not my favorite. I will not post a link, but I am thinking about ordering either the silver twill or dark matter blue carbon fiber insert for it from sharp dressed knives. My question is, what is y'all's opinion on whether it would match the blue of the stars and stripes, or would leaving the black in place be a better idea.

Things got a little hectic on this end so I unplugged for awhile... Looks like I have a whole bunch of catching up to do. You guys have been busy! It's been pretty quiet on this end (mod-wise) lately.

I swapped a CPM-154 blade, some black screws, and a black pocket clip on my wife's purple Kershaw Leek the other day. The leftover parts made for one really UGLY frankenLeek so I gave it away at work, lol.

My wife's Spyderco McBee is also finished. I'm not super jazzed with how the Damacore blade turned out, but it was just an extra piece from the length I'm using for the Sebenza, so no big deal. This ended up being a bit more of a project than I expected, lol. The wife likes it though, so it is what it is.

The engraved funny folders all tend to run about the same amount of time, plus or minus a couple hours...surface area is the biggest factor followed by the amount of detail/background removal/texture/anodizing/design time/etc. This one has about 18 hours in it all said and done.
