The 25, 21, Regular and Umnumzaan comparison photos ***VIDEO & Pics Inside***

This knife is stupid solid. I can loosen the pivot and the knife is still bank vault solid. The notch on top of the spine doesn't look bad, actually. Heck, I don't even see it most of the time. It is finished off nicely but I do not think it would work for a fire steel. The jimping would work better for that.

Perfect! Thanks. As always.

Was there ever any problem about stability of the sebs? The stability has ever been one of the most interesting issues of the sebenzas, so what are you talking about? How many Sebs have you ever seen with pivot broken?
Did everybody forget the advantages of the sebenzas? Man, man, is Alzheimer around here?

Obviously nobody around here has any dislike nor issues with any variation of the Seb. Crying and pouting to bring the bushing back won't make it happen though. It's a CRK, it's a Sebenza, all is well.

Had my apprehensions at first about the 25, but there's no way I can't get one, especially since I'm Zaanless now. I'm looking forward to it

I've said it a few times, and it will be true for the 25. The bushing-less 25 will work better than the previous versions, and will take away a piece that's not needed (IMO!!!) All of my Umnum's(5) are very smooth, solid, and have no side to side play. I've just taken two apart the other day, "just for the hell of it"....they didn't even need it. I really think this new design will surprise everyone.

I hate to point people over to that popular auction site...but I just saw a 25 up from an authorized dealer on there.

A chance for someone to grab one that didn't get on the list.

Exactly!!!! This thing is solid as a rock, and with a lot less parts.

I wonder if the notch in the spine is to aid in setting the studs? Position the pivot hole on a locating stud, and the notch would rest up against another pin to keep the blade from rotating?

Knife looks nice, thanks for the pics. Still not sold, though I'm guessing it's pretty awesome. I'd really like to handle one.

Maybe the notch after the jimping allows for people to bend their thumb and put their fingernail in it when stabbing?

Thanks for the video BBQ Boy. You have done amazing work helping everyone learn about this knife.

Clicked back in to see the video. Nice job!
I'm with you, I want a one piece inlay in there.
Hoping for a small too as it would be ideal for my needs.
Thanks for posting the vid!
If they made a hex wrench with both sides being the two different fits, that'd make an ideal one tool solution.

Very nice pic's and video, buddy. Thanks for doing that one-handed 'tube commentary for us, especially since it was a new adventure for you. It was very informative.

I think I spotted some sauce under your nails. :D

Right after I watched the vid I sent CRK an email seeing where I sat on the list :D

Good stuff man:thumbup:

Glad you guys enjoyed and appreciate the video. I had a good time doing it, actually, and may start doing more videos.

Is the pivot countersunk into the handle or is it just sitting on top? I can't really tell. Looks like the others are countersunk and not the pivot.
