The "Ask Nathan a Question" Thread

Nathan, will there be a 3pm sale tomorrow, Friday May 9th?

Yes,

We've started preparing for the Blade Show in Atlanta, so we don't have a lot ready. We will have a small sale tomorrow and it will be the last sale for a little while. Should be a nice leisurely sale, the last one was pretty slow.

Hi Nathan, I tried to get in on the sale yesterday(5/9), but I don't think I got in on time.
Then I received this email,

Hey man, how's it going?
It is still available for sale. Consider it yours. Zelle? Please reply with your shipping details.
I will ship tomorrow. As soon as I get the tracking number, I'll be sure to forward it to you.
Thanks

Was that from you? I'm sorry if it was, but I wanted to check with you first. Seems like it might be a scam.
Please let me know either way.
Anyway thanks for doing what you do.

Might want to search the forum for your email address and delete any instances.

I agree with all the others who said the same thing.
Do not respond to them, block them too.

If anybody can figure out who this person is and where they live, please let me know.

If you get these emails I recommend stringing them along until you get their banking info, then reporting it to the bank or payment app. Sometimes they will ask for your shipping address before giving you their info but you can Google a fake name and address generator. And if you want to get a little cheeky, say the first payment method didn't work and ask for a second.

Or invite them to visit "the creek" at Mooresville. I hear it's to die for.

I know it’s the ask Nathan but I’ll abuse it this one time. I string scammers along for as long as possible. It’s fun for me and I figure while dealing with me they cant be effing with someone else. I once got one to “resend” a check that i “never received “ next day so in my case they actually lost money! So much fun!
