If there's a grail knife for me, it's the Dr Death. I don't know that I could ever make myself fork over that much for a knife, but if I did the next threshold for me would be putting it in my pocket and actually using it. Congrats to you on owning that beauty and for having the stones to carry it! 👌

Back in Shiro game 🍻

Good to see you back in Bear Territory, man. I know you've been angling for it for quite a while. I've been sorely tempted by the Neon several times have been reluctant to invest that much in a knife that could be too small. Do you find yours to be more hand filling than something like an 0450? Maybe more like a mini Grip?

Did you get your Neon from Vlad?

I know that you didn't direct your question to me, but since I own both the Neon and the ZT450 I thought I would chime in. The knives are very similar size overall, blade length, etc (as you probably already know), but the Neon is somewhat wider/thicker and thereby does fill the hand a bit better than the ZT450. Can't say about the minigrip since I don't own one and have never had one in my hand.

Might as well add this pic to the thread:

Thanks for the reply. My guess has always been that the Neon is pretty hand-filling for a small knife. I've mentioned in quite a few of my posts that I struggle holding on to smaller knives as my old, thick hands are quite arthritic. I traded my small 21 Sebenza away as it was too difficult for me to handle and I didn't want that much tied up in a knife that was not a good fit. I got my 0450 and cash back for it and the ZT is longer in both blade and handle, but still kinda narrow for me. I can deal well enough with thin grips but need some breadth to hang onto.

Nice pair of knives in your pic, man. My M390 95T is pretty much my favorite knife and gets lots of pocket and play time.

No problem, just hoping to help :) I also own a small Sebenza 21, and I can definitely say that the Neon feels like a lot more knife in hand than the small 21

This one arrived last week. I thought the bearings couldn't be smoother than my hati but boy was I wrong.

I'd say the Neon is in par with the 0450 with how it feels in hand but larger then the mini grip. I like all three.

The Neon really has my attention and is likely the perfect Shiro for me. Anyone have a pic(s) comparing the Neon to a Small Sebenza?

Thanks coiledwire and wtlj, that is just what I was afraid of - the perfect carry knife. Medium Sebenza size, but with an accent and a flipper. Time to retrieve some sacrifices from my collection...
