Love the F95.

I'm patiently waiting for purple 111 gen 5s to drop again.
The Gen 5 is the first new version to tempt me into replacing my Gen 1. I've got the action on my knife tuned up so well, though, that I'd still be reluctant to let it go despite the new blade style pushing the cumulative generational improvements over the top for me. Plus, I've got a light scratch on my 111's blade which lets me to use it more generally, increasing the pocket time for my pocket sword.

Just curious, but wondering if you'll let your 111 "camp knife" go if you can grab a Gen 5. Knowing you, I'd guess that'll be a yes if you're pleased enough with the new model.

Ooof, it's truly a tough call. I've purchased 2 clip-slips to carry it now since it's not always appropriate to carry it in the sheath (work). The sheath really does work well, however, and I had it on my belt everyday while on vacation. It will definitely be a game-time decision if I move it.

So lately I’d been missing having an F95 in the collection and made an offhand comment in another thread about wanting to pick up a Turtle. Low and behold, a gracious fellow forum member reached out to me out of the blue with an offer on a gently pre-owned example that I just couldn’t refuse and, well, here we are…:D

I managed to track down a Pero recently and struck a deal with the owner. It shipped about a week ago from Philly. After 3 days if no updates it made it to Nashville (not sure why there, I'm in Denver). But it's still in Nashville after a day and a half, no movement.

This. Is. Torture.
