The Bears' Den--Shirogorov Showcase

I ran it on my sharpener 3 times but managed to finally get it cut all the way thru! A quick hone every 1/4 inch helped it also.


I have used it quite a bit and have never had to touch up the edge yet. Seems to last pretty ood.

Congrats on your pickup, Chuck_Nunface Chuck_Nunface . I'm really taken with the blade on that new Gen5 model, but the original 111CF with fuller is an absolute classic and one that belongs in any true sleuth of Bears--it's the one I really wanted when it came to me over 5 years ago and one that I doubt will leave me even if another makes its way into my Den.

We did talk earlier about the 111's clip being shallow and stiff and I trust yours will ease up and break in like mine has. It didn't take the whole 5 years either. ;)
