I like what you did there, giving the illusion that the scales are open to the floor. Had to do a double take.Day 2 of carrying this one. Only used it to cut apples, some envelopes/boxes, and tape. Carries nice.

I'm new to looking at Shiros. Is that a zero nl?As much as I appreciate the higher level models, none of them "speak" to me as much as the NL. Light, stout, tremendous slicer (FFG devoid of flats = most acute geometry), nearly sterile blade, grippy inlays yet svelte in/out of the pocket (with no shred), and I even prefer the internal lock-cutout (aesthetically at least). The inlays provide the means of weight-reduction cutouts (instead of gutting the inside of the scales), but otherwise it is such a "straightforward" design, devoid of any unnecessary embellishment, yet produced at the HIGHEST level of quality and frankly insane tolerances. This is MY Shiro - I LOVE this model.

No, it is a F95NL, which is a full sized (approximately 4" blade) Shirogorov.I'm new to looking at Shiros. Is that a zero nl?
Thank you. I think the Neon would end up being more of my size preference. No, it is a F95NL, which is a full sized (approximately 4" blade) Shirogorov.
The way the Shiro bug works, you start off sane with Neons, and before you know it you're daily carrying a 111 pocket sword!Thank you. I think the Neon would end up being more of my size preference.
Oh nooooo..... I mean I can see it. You need one for pocket sword Sundays right? The way the Shiro bug works, you start off sane with Neons, and before you know it you're daily carrying a 111 pocket sword!
