Wow! Both looks extremely flammable
Are you going to use one of them as trading ammunition?If I had to keep just one — the bottom one seems to have a tiny bit more complex and subtle pattern, and a little more practical grind.
Is there any noticeable difference in action or blade tip centering?

Anyone know what model this might be? I looked over my decent collection and it didn’t match any that I have (it doesn’t match the Neon, Hation, Stellar, F3, F95, Quantum or Bio). Maybe the mini Quantum?

thank you for your feedback. I also do like the top one as there is a bit more fire (red) and the gold collar is more pronounced in person. B Bacchus Lol yes they both look very flammable.
I agree with you on the bottom one being more complex. A bit too complex for me especially as it’s moved and how the light reflects. Almost gets blurry.
Yes I plan on keeping one and using the other as trading ammo.
The action, centering, fit and finish are identical. If you close your eyes and handle each I don’t believe you could tell which was in hand. Well at least I couldn’t lol.

I’m hoping production stellar although I’ve gotten really used to carrying the full-size Hati

Anyone even remotely considering a Stellar should jump on any chance that comes up to grab one and try it out, it’s that good! So good in fact that if someone told me I could only keep one Shirogorov knife, I’d instantly choose the Stellar — and this is only after 2 days with it now. I missed the drop for the first production one and was totally content to get a M390 one later (or whatever they choose for the standard production versions), but now having the chance to grab a FP, I’m very pleased it’s S90V and that it would take an equally phenomenal one to make me buy a second, if that makes sense.
Regarding the pic above, here’s the back end of the Stellar FP and it doesn’t look anything like the one posted by Shiro today but I certainly could be wrong (and often am!). I’m guessing there wouldn’t be such a drastic styling change. Also, check out the blues on the corners like I mentioned in my post yesterday, the ribbing/milling on the rest of the handles also has it along the edges.

, while I deeply enjoy my Stellar FP and look forward to snagging a regular one (with M390 blade and hopefully without any inlays or childish/chaotic satin), I have to agree -- the spacer tip of the Stellar is similar to the one of F95T, quite different from the recently published.IMHO the teaser presents something rather similar to Russian Overkill, we're probably hinted at another RJM collab coming… may be it’s Overkill FP?
Well, it almost seems like they are trying to impress some of the most seasoned Denizens (and probably Mr. Old School himself
) with a flow of long-awaited production knives

Any guess on price if it is the overkill?
For a production version I would expect a price tag similar to Stellar FP, maybe 25-40% higher.
Soft Overkill could be a reference point as well.
Most sincere congratulations!.. It seems you are the first (or even the only one) in the Den to obtain all 3 of them --

That kind of satin is not a common thing for Shiro production knives.
All of a sudden it occured to me that my previous assumptions regarding Overkill FP might be over-optimistic.
It could be another limited run available via lottery held by Recon1. In that case $1700-$2000 is a more realistic price tag.

Overkills are a Shiro/RJM collaboration. Shiro doesn’t make production versions of collaboration pieces. Production versions are only for their own designs.
