There's a first production in here somewhere... My F95NL 4th Gen Crazy Micarta was traded for a Reate Jack 2 in Damasteel and Green Fat Carbon (with comb blade replacement) a while back. But, today I just traded the NeOn NL green micarta + cash for a Koenig Arius. Hope that's okay with all of you?

PS: This is the Fat Jack 2 Damasteel, for those who don't know, and worth a bit more now than the F95NL I traded for it.

It arrived yesterday, and I do love it. Somewhere in the back of my brain (while playing with other, more frugal and popular brands), a voice kept saying, "these toys aren't supposed to hurt your hands".

The Stellar doesn't hurt my hands. Ergos are very good! Maybe an F3 will be next.

I might be a Shiro guy.

F3 is the only Shiro I haven’t kept and I’ve had 4 or 5. Hati gen 3 is probably my pound for pound favorite Shiro. Stellar is awesome too

I really appreciate that input! The other model I've had my eye on is a Hati, and I'll keep an eye out for a Gen 3.

Edit: Question Sir, am I to understand that a Hati is simply a 95 with one composite scale? The two are otherwise identical?

Same size for sure but feel much different in hand imo. Hati is NOTICEABLY lighter weight. It’s amazing actually, I think it feels like a benchmade Bugout in pocket but has more cutting ability than a spyderco military. It is also the first knife with the CPS (captive pivot) so it doesn’t free spin in disassembling. The f95 is awesome too if you like a heavier feel.

Hati gen 3 is usually up on R1 in some configuration

My Stellar came sharpish, but not hair popping... I sharpened mine as well when it arrived. sharpened up great and has been holding an edge well since, but I would have given the factory edge a 6 or 7 (grinds were perfect tho) out of 10.
