love this forum . Makes me feel so much better about my hobbies when I feel bad for having 6 folders and 9 fixed blades and I hear yall talking about cases for 80 knives .lol .. bravo . Keep on keepin on

I recently bought a new house and moved….it took roughly a week just to sort and pack all my knives and knife related items lol, BladeForums has completely changed my life . No idea on a current total knife count but I have 9 Shiro’s and I’m wondering what #10 should be!

That or a Neon/Hation would seem to be the most obvious choice.

I’ve had a Neon NL, it was my first Shiro actually and just like the small Sebenza’s, they don’t have the same feel as the large knives so I sold that sucker for what I paid for it and got my first F95.

I like the Mayo Collabs for sure so I’ve been keeping the Dr Death on my list of maybe someday!

Just snagged a Neon NL on the exchange. I had no intentions of acquiring a Shiro, wasn’t even looking to buy anything right now, but as usual I took a traipse through the for-sales, and it called to me. You know the rest. Pics to come.

I'm trying to get where you are. I haven't sold or traded a knife in over ten years, so why do I need to keep these stupid boxes? They are beginning to take up enough room to worry about it.

They do. I dont get rid of knives. And when it rarely happens? They are gifted. If the gift is turned down due to lack of box? That person didnt really need it! I didnt say it to be snarky. Really. I collect and love KNIVES, not boxes. I GET those who frequently trade or sell. I do. But thats not me!

Btw- if you guys see this on the bay.. the guys a jerk. I purchased this at the price he listed it for first. He refunded me (3 days later) with no communication, and relisted it at a much higher price.

I agree, but that was a grail for me. When he originally posted it at 700, i snagged it immediately. Had to. I was incredibly dissapointed when he refunded with no intent to ship, no message. He marked it "item out of stock". Relisted next day at current 1200 dollar price.. then sent me an offer to purchase at 1000

I like that Shiro 111 5th Gen on there for a low buy it now price of $1,800 , down from the $1,900 that he had it listed at a couple weeks before. Not sure how long it’s been listed but I believe a couple months at least now.

Your new scales for that F3 look really sweet, the layering of the fibers in the CF is awesome and I’m wondering how the glow effect is on them. With regards to the Halloween Hati, my scales take a good amount of light to charge up (I’ve found the sun works best compared to a bright flashlight) but they lose their glow pretty damn quick so it’s a feature that’s almost unrecognizable.
