The Bears' Den--Shirogorov Showcase

Did a risky experiment today.
I recieved my diamond tip needles, and did about 10 light passes on the detent hole on my strip skinny, not on the track, just the hole. Assembled, and flicked it a bunch of times. Dissambled, did 10 more, assemble, and flicked again, about 20 times. It made opening easier, my finger doesnt feel like its losing skin anymore. The flipper tab on this knife is ludicrous sharp, because its so small. But now with the detent hold a little less flat, it opens with less pressure, I think this is where I want it, and let time slowly break it in.
Very happy with this knife now!
It has the most crisp action ive ever felt. It really snaps.
Stellar arrives monday, excited for that.
My fit I held it like a lighter and flipped it with my thumb. That's how I broke mine in!

Looks great. I wish I had the money ready at the time of the lottery enrollment, I really loved the sako one. They should run another one at some point, I'll hopefully get in on that one. I think they do a lottery for 5 pieces at a time and there will be several lotteries over the course of the manufacturing run. I would think 25-50 pieces total but it's anybodies guess.

I also like the Sami one. I’m in a bronze kick these days.

I've got a ccks f3 with some bronze, it has some gold flake almost in the carbon for the handles. I love it, but this sako one IMO has just the right amount. I prefer the nice Grey scale carbon but bronze accents elsewhere, I think the gold flake on my f3 is just a touch too ostentatious. Splitting hairs for sure, just working out what my optimal build preference would be.

They are doing more runs. I want the Tamar f3!!

I'm sure they have them made. Its a R1 exclusive. But I talked to Tamar and told her I was disappointed that I didn't win 😂😂 she said they will do more drops.

I know that r1 is having Shiro make them specially for r1. My question is did Shiro make all ~50(or whatever the total number is) in one batch, and r1 releases them 5 at a time. Or is Shiro making them 5 at a time every few months, as needed. I would guess that a manufacturer wouldnt want to produce just 5 at a time, but what do I know(not alot). The way r1 describes it, Shiro is making them 5 at a time. If that is the case, that's very impressive, that would mean Shiro manufacturing process is very dynamic and agile.

Hopefully we don't have to wait very long for the next one. Both versions are very cool and will be sought after for a long time

I need some old school shiro guys help! I just found this guy, pretty cool, any info would help!
Rare camo, they did one for bladeshow in 2020 I believe. Seems this could be it. They’ve done a few different camo patterns in the past eventually releasing a couple custom division with it. This pattern goes back to 2015. I’ll link a video of them lasering this pattern in 10/2015.
