Next time I have this taken apart, I am strongly considering doing a satin job on the main flats of the scales… 😲

Lightly Sand the areas where you got overspill. It’ll come off. That’s the beauty of anodization. It’s only on the surface. If you don’t like it, you can always remove it and do it over again. You can remove it by sanding or chemically with a little Wink. Super simple.

Yeah, exactly. I seem to recall (from quite awhile ago) that a paste of OxyClean will remove it as well. Same issue with any liquid though, it’s difficult to control keeping it exactly along an edge. I did pretty well with the sponge piece itself, but occasionally the electrolyte (water + baking soda) would go where I didn’t want it to, and it doesn’t take much to mess up the look at the edge.

Going to roll with it as-is for now and see how it looks after awhile.

I snagged a HatiOn in the lottery and like it a lot more than I thought I would. It's the first Neon that I've had. Most people don't realize that the little Neon has more cutting edge than a CRK Inkosi. I certainly didn't know that.

Recon1 has a neon NL in micarta that I really dig. I may well end up buying that one lol
 
Thinking about adulterating my F95 some more this weekend... 😁 Might satin-finish the flats and anodize the backspacer too.

Giving the Ti liners on my Emerald F3 the side-eye as well... :oops:

The 111 was my 2nd Shiro, 10 years back, when the choices were plain or fullered. Had to have the fuller. I got that one BNIB from an individual Russian re-seller. I had three of my Shiros come to me like that. There were 2 or 3 guys back in the day where you could get a great deal, but those days are long gone.
