Anyone know if the rumor of GEC not doing SFO's anymore is true? If so, this knife would be their last one. I hope it isn't true. If it is the bunny knife won't be hopping out of collections any time soon.

Thanks for helping me understand how stupid of a thought that was. I knew the difference between Club and SFO's. I'll blame it on the wife. She's out Christmas shopping and left me with our 3 and 1 1/2 year old creatures alone. My "hare" is on fire chasing these kids around.Club knives and SFOs are different categories.
Why? I would love a cocobolo as well.
Oh, that was one of my thoughts.
They will be as dark as priests socks.According to my research Yes. Black and so black even the white bits are black....there might some mutant mottley looking ones ...Im hoping for one of those.
Still they made a Wiki-Ute for Charlie, which isn't a club knife.Club knives and SFOs are different categories.
Oh man, I hope not, would be some bad news.? I thought coco bolo was on some special list, and can’t be imported or exported or some such. Except for Taylor guitars growing their own with an exemption?
is that konfusing or what?
I was just making a statement about categories.Still they made a Wiki-Ute for Charlie, which isn't a club knife.

It's self explanatory Jojo.
Where does it say they don't make SFOs?sryJiki i dont get it...
please explain me what the (GEC) definition is and the distinctions of these 'categories' are (apart from the words themselves).

Found it. Jojo you will have to ask a GEC representative for the difference. But according to this page there is a difference.Where does it say they don't make SFOs?
Bill at GEC explained to me that he is cutting way back on SFOs, and concentrating on making knives for his regular dealers!! He may make an SFO from time to time, if it fits his production schedule, but no promises!!Where does it say they don't make SFOs?
Good information from the horses mouth. ThanksBill at GEC explained to me that he is cutting way back on SFOs, and concentrating on making knives for his regular dealers!! He may make an SFO from time to time, if it fits his production schedule, but no promises!!
He has been good to us on BF over the years, including this year, with a new pattern about to grace us porch denizens!! Some shipments are about to start!!
We will get the "PPP" marking (etch), meaning it's the first use of this new pattern!!
Bill will use the pattern for a variant knife for his dealers, at some point!!!!?
