The Club and Improvised weapons thread (Post your Handy work!)

Ha ha I love that one. Imprssed that you hacked it out of a log!

I know I'm dragging up an old thread
After 26 years of plumbing work in which you work either on your knees or on a ladder on some days I need a walking stick. The shaft is a sledge hammer handle here when we bought the house. the head is a brass ball from a 1 1/2 ball valve (Chrome Plated) with a rubber tip

A few interesting prison clubs found by some friends of mine after a prison raid.

Yikes! As a former prison guard, glad they are out of their hands!
I had a big ball valve ball at one time, probably the same size as Plumberroys. I used it as a makeshift pommel for a cheap yard sale sword I picked up and modified.
Last I heard of that sword my brother almost killed a rat with it but ended up bending the blade when his thrust missed, haha.
Almost picked up one of these today, might make a good impact business end.

I happened to see this thread, and just had to post some pictures of a recent project.

I call it "persuasion"

weighin in at 1 lb 5 oz, she's a light weight, but very feisty. Great for a fight, light enough to move fast, but heavy enough to do some real damage.
21.5" oal
and the head is a 6" piece of 1" pipe, riveted on with three 1/4" steel rivets. It's goin nowhere.

The handle is some kind of hardwood, I'm assuming ash, and I added a retention cord, going through a brass thong tube for durability.

Here is a common doggie chew toy, a "sterile bone".

Here it is after two strikes, the first one split it along a fracture and partially shattered it. Then the second shattered what was left. I had to go pick up all the pieces to take the picture.

Talk about improvised...

I have a pair of these in my room. They're made out of duct tape, duct tape, and more duct tape. Oh, and a bit of electrical tape. :p

(Edit: Crap. I have 666 posts right now D: )

Sorry for the off-topic post, but 00Ghost100 I really like the knife in your signature line. . .info???

Thanks!

Prisoners---sure are crafty bastards ! Yeah, i wouldn't be touching those nails/spikes either. The one i found has been tipped with feces, so if it don't kill you fast, it might kill you slow, with HIV, Hep-C, etc...

Cold Steel indian war club with a couple modifications - leather and paracord handle wrap, with lanyard. ball has been painted and covered with surfboard resin to look more like a rock :)
