The Club and Improvised weapons thread (Post your Handy work!)

Astrogator-

Just WTF is that thing? And how'd you make it?

It is my version of a blackjack.
It is a heavy duty expansion spring with a lead head cast on and covered with heat shrink tubing, the material was found in my scrap box.
It weighs about 10 ounces.
It should be able to do anything a purchased blackjack can do.
I made it because I was bored at the time and wanted something to do LOL.

Seems like an effective weapon...I wouldn't want to get hit by it. Pretty good idea using the spring though, I don't think i would have thought of that

With a 14" handle and a 12 oz waffle/hatchet head this Vaughn Drywall hammer would make a great hawk or war hammer...have used it around the campsite many times...and still be legal in the tool box...

Just finished this walking stick for the wife on her daily walks with the dogs...made from an old pine mop handle, cherry wood pommel, recycled leather strapping, and a bolt for the pointy end, coated with mineral oil, this measures just over 4' and weights 1 1/4 lbs...I've seen her wield and mean wooden spoon and giving her this will make me toe the line:eek::rolleyes:

\

The kids call it "Mom's Pencil"

Sorry for the toes that got in the way, but at least there is no Toe Nail Fungus:barf:

That stick looks nice. I'm not sure how wise it is to arm your wife with it though. I see lots of honey do lists in your future. ;)

Alright time to breathe some more life into this thread. Here's a few more goodies.

Good ol' hunk of pipe:

Lug wrench:

Trench raiding club:

And this is a unique piece you're not likely to see elsewhere:

Alright time to pump some new blood in to this thread. And since I'm the shiv addict I might as well sow off my collection.

Some are copied from actual examples. Others are my own.

Made this priest club from the weights end of a pool cue.

Its got a nice weight to it!

This is my plumb wood walking stick, really hard and the chunk of steel pipe on the bottom gives it that edge in battle! Lol

Still haven't finished this yet waiting for the weather to break almost time for a finish.

Legion12. . .that thing looks AWESOME!!!! Perfect piece of wood that already resembles a head. . .looks like you are gonna carve some teeth into it; that will look real slick!

Can't wait to see this one finished!
