It is my version of a blackjack.
It is a heavy duty expansion spring with a lead head cast on and covered with heat shrink tubing, the material was found in my scrap box.
It weighs about 10 ounces.
It should be able to do anything a purchased blackjack can do.
I made it because I was bored at the time and wanted something to do LOL.
Seems like an effective weapon...I wouldn't want to get hit by it. Pretty good idea using the spring though, I don't think i would have thought of that
With a 14" handle and a 12 oz waffle/hatchet head this Vaughn Drywall hammer would make a great hawk or war hammer...have used it around the campsite many times...and still be legal in the tool box...
Just finished this walking stick for the wife on her daily walks with the dogs...made from an old pine mop handle, cherry wood pommel, recycled leather strapping, and a bolt for the pointy end, coated with mineral oil, this measures just over 4' and weights 1 1/4 lbs...I've seen her wield and mean wooden spoon and giving her this will make me toe the line

The kids call it "Mom's Pencil"
Sorry for the toes that got in the way, but at least there is no Toe Nail Fungus:barf:
