“Attention Shoppers: Instigator in isle 5….instigator in isle 5.” Lol.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the AD-10 personally, but then again, I like slim knives…even in the bush.

Regarding the lockback part of the design being outdated. I tend to agree and then I learned that I could very easily open it and close it with one hand, yes this matters especially when holding something heavy in your other hand. The action is so smooth I can thumb flick deploy or “spydie” flick it out using the rear thumbstud. Kind of hilarious that I loathed Cold Steel my entire life only to become a fan 1 year before they sold to GSM. Now I’ve added older models to collect and use and always check out postings with any “Old Steel” offerings. To all the haters, do what you have to do to buy one , sell 1-2 knives, trade, or just buy one!!!! At the very least you can just move it along if you hate it, but if you like/love it you have to come back to this thread and throw yourself at the mercy of the court. LOL.
Wait, lockbacks are considered outdated now? 😮

Are other knives OK to flash? Which would you recommend as "The Best Knife To Flash That Money Can Buy"?
Well, that depends.... If you're in a city full of people like Shane, then I wouldn't recommend flashing anything more than a Victorinox Swiss Army Rambler, and you better be careful doing that with people like that in the area. They scare really easy. :):)

Well, one man's burger is another man's steak. I mean, if you prefer a Ganzo, more power to you. If all you need to do is open Amazon boxes every now and then, you'd be better off with a smaller knife like a Spyderco Dragonfly or something like that. I mean, because that's all you'll need.

Lol - I’m completely fine with that!

In fact you could say the same thing about a Ganzo and I’d have your back.

Why? Because this is a statement about YOUR preference, rather than some sort of “fact”. 👏

So… sounds like the custom is more finely finished, slightly heavier, and more durable. Sounds about right - and if price was no object I’d have already purchased one. :)
No, that's not the conclusion I came to after reading this, but you are free to interpret it any way you see fit...

Try this with your CRKT Hissatsu....

like i said, none of that matters to me as i would never use a pocket knife for something that would require hundreds of pounds of weight to be attached to the handle, being light and easy to carry is more important and desirable to me, i had the sr1 and sr1 lite and sold them both cause they were pocket bricks

See below - had an issue with the quote function…

I’m interested to hear your conclusion/interpretation?

I stated mine, what’s yours?

also i wish i still had a pic of my friends manix 2, he is a non knife guy and i gave him one as a gift and he used/abused it for everything you can think of, prying, cutting materials that he shouldnt have used a knife on etc.......he never cleaned or sharpened the knife and after a few years of constant use the knife still cut paper effortlessly even though it had small chips and dents, the manix knives are pretty tough

Ha I missed that - now that is a truly amazing, (practically unbelievable!) knife feat!!!

I’m starting to think the Manix 2 might be the best knife money can buy!
