  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

The Competition Finish Is Gone . . . . . .

Thats unfortunate. The recent CF knives from blade show (TG-M & NMSFNOs) had some of the most wicked edges I have seen on any busse of recent memory. Those who complained unlikely realized that part though :D

For the record, this Hog LOVES the CF and any chatter marks that go along with em

I'm with you all the way!!!!!

Correct you are. But no satin for the Gemini. :)

Gotch!!! I was tooo focused on the fact that I wanted the SHBM with CF. I've stripped all my busses except my TGLB because it was CF and its just not the same... I'd sign a waver. I love CF!!

Seems to me that the stripped look is close enough (and sometimes better) to the CF so as to my be a total downer. It's not a stock option anymore, but it's not all lost, like discontinuing a loved handle color would be.

Good thing I got all mine before the change. I love the comp finish... the machine marks only add to the character.

Love the new website by the way...:thumbup::thumbup:!

My CF TG has a thinner and sharper edge than the coated one I got for my son.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Seriously, I wanted a TGLB com to match the M. Can't we just have a disclaimer checkbox next to the finish stating 'I agree not to whine' ?

I was looking forward to cf. Cant be any different than those who complain about the paint finish being uneven or splotchy. I like the disclaimer idea.only thing that matters is the edge.

I've always just made my own. Stripper and scotchbrite wheels. Best finish ever.

It is nice though getting a brand new one with a sharp convex ready to use edge and not having to strip/resharpen it yourself. Also the personality between the two (stripped & CF) are night and day.

I like the CF, but I completelty respect the decision here. And it's "gone" but "may" return in some limited run / at shows and such...so all hope is not lost.

To reduce confusion, (if it's not already posted) I do agree that maybe a caveat be clearly stated (perhaps on the Website). Basically stating what CF is / is not.

Agreed! Vote in the poll if you haven't brother.
