The Flea Market Mung Absolution Thread

Hey all of my Fiddleback bretheren, I have been swamped at work for over a month, and have not had a chance to even check in lately. Michael, I am glad to see you active again, and what a great snag from the shark tank today!

Luke, it is good to see you posting as well. I hope that you have healed and recovered from your surgery.

I've got a lot of catching up to do with a lot of threads in bold on my browser, so I better get back to reading.

How about that batch today? Unbelievable knives!

I am trying not to look at the batch as there was at least one knife that had not sold when I looked them over at 9:00 PM that I would love to have. Before I buy any more Fiddlebacks, I need to take stock of my collection and make some decisions about what stays, what goes and what's missing. I have to say that today's offering makes having discipline to do this very hard.

Welcome back Walt! Thanks for the loaner blade earlier. Was wondering what happened to you.

Good to see you around again, Walt. You've got a lot of catching up to do. The number of quality posts around here the past two weeks have been off the charts!

Michael

Thanks for the kind words. This is definitely a cool community to be a part of. My shoulder has regained a ton of mobility but I'm limited to lifting 2 pounds for another 16 weeks. The muscles have shrunk a lot and are very weak! It's going to be a long slow road to filling my muscle back out once I can lift weight. Tonight the surrounding muscles are giving me fits and am not very comfortable, but overall I'm thankful for the progress that's been made.

I was reading a few posts in the Flea Market regarding lack of ability to leave feedback. That is something that has always disappointed me as well. I've had so many outstanding dealings with fellow Fiddleback members but can't express it here. Any thoughts on an internal "Flea Market" sticky for feedback? Although I assume 99% of it will be extremely positive knowing our group.

I think that would be a great idea Dave. It would definitely be beneficial to the lurkers/buyers like myself who aren't known on this forum. Happy thanksgiving!

Great ideas guys. I'm going to create a thread to get it going. If someone official would rather do it, they can feel free to setup a different one.

I didn't know where else to put this and this seems to be the catch all thread, hopefully no one gets bent out of shape. I'm looking to buy a completed AR upper. 556, 16", 1 in 7 twist, i'm picky about rails, quality but not premium brands. I like BCM, spikes, and similar. I'm looking for an Aimpoint PRO also. If you got one to get rid of shoot me a PM. Thanks!

I wonder if Cass knows the Kephart he sacrificed himself over is for sale on ebay. Talk about obsession.

Nice score on that woodsman Seth! I'll bet you can strike a ferro rod on that spine! Try doing that without modifying the woodsmen nowadays. Not a bad first flea market score!

He listed and sold that Kephart he bragged about and sacrificed himself for on ebay a long time ago.

Dang it that Bushboot up for trade matches my hiking buddy! I got no runts!

Sure has been a lot of pointless chatter lately in the Flea Market, particularly from people who should know better. The new guys are slightly excusable but remember: it's a sales thread, not a chatroom.
