LMAO.... this is quite confusing! LMAO.... I could only imagine trying to identify a piece of burl you found on the bench behind some junk. :)

Thanks for clearing that up, fellas! It's pretty sad that I didn't even know what it was, especially considering I purchased it new!

I'm not sure there's a difference between Black Burlap and Oreo. The ones in the Flea Market as black sure look the same as Oreo. Here's my Oreo Longfellow:

It can take on some purplish hues in certain light.

Do any of these handle materials have more texture/better grip? Just curious.

I always thought that the Black and Oreo referred to the same burlap. Though it makes sense that Oreo would have hints of white given its name. All the others are pretty distinct from one another.

I thought that I was the only one who doesn't care for orange pinstripes (with rare exceptions.). Toxic green, white, or plain solid black are the ones I like. I am kind of indifferent to blue pinstripes unless they are paired with black. I have skipped buying many knives on Fridays or from the Flea Market because they have orange pinstripes.

To each their own when it comes to pinstripes.

I'm also a big fan of the toxic green with certain configurations... it can really pop (especially with blackwoods and sapphire burlap). I'm learning to like blue on natural but highly prefer blue on black. My struggle is trying to find handle scales that don't "eat up" the blue color where you can no longer see them. This week has been especially painful with some KILLER knives going on the Fleamarket with orange pinstripes. I may need to join/start an orange liner support group... :D

The Black Burlap and the Oreo are the same material. Andy was calling it Black burlap for the longest time and we thought that it needed a catchier name. . . thus you now have Oreo

 Thanks for the official clarification! Now....LOL... what's difference in orange and the newer orange? :)

The new tangerine ain't electric (it doesn't have the metallic thread).

The older orange, Electric Orange, is slightly lighter in color and has gold tinsel woven into the burlap so you can see sparkles. The new orange, Tangerine, is solid burlap and a bit darker in color.

I can no longer find a source for the EO (but there is a few other Electric Colors) so if anyone can find it I would greatly appreciate it!!!
