The Hinderer bug

Well, I've finally done it. After looking at them off and on for years (mostly due to my ownership of a ZT0562 and 0392BLK) I just ordered my first real Hinderer from DLT. The Gen 6 changes and reviews made it impossible to resist any more.

Very nice! Also two of my favorite ZTs.

Yes they were. I kind of regret selling them but I'm focusing on 4" or more in folders now. Everything else just isn't the right size for me.

I loved the feel and build of the 0392 and even though it was only 3.6" probably would have kept it but they always sold out so fast I was only able to get one. And I couldn't bring myself to use it without a backup.

Mail call - my 3.5 Blue/Black scale came along with my 3.0 Gen6 Slicer.
Love it! Need more! The 3.0 is not too small. It's small, but still usable for sure. In hand, it feels a little bigger than a Cryo.
The bottom pic is a size reference against some well-known ZT Hind staples.

First Hinderer arrived today. So far I'm loving it! As soon as I opened it I put in the bronze washers threw on the dark green scale I bought for it. I don't know why but even though I know there's nothing this can do that my Sebenza can't, for some reason I feel more ready to subject this knife to hard use and abuse.

Playing with my half track and as it is breaking in it is becoming smoother and smoother

Excited to see some XM-18 3.5 with the spanto blade piping out ;)
