I haven’t been able to discern any of the typical BIG grinding/scoring marks under the DC finish in your or Apocalyps’ photos. I could see a little of that on the blade flat in the photo offered in the release thread, but these delivered knives seem even cleaner—more like the original BBDC finish.

Any comments from those of you who have received these—are they really that clean?

I got the same thing as Leonardo63. The only marks I could find were some light cross-hatch pattern (like on a Comp Finish) on one side of the ricasso, and the light has to be just right to see it. And a couple small (1/8") grinds around the choil ad talon hole. The "Busse" side of the ricasso, the flat grind, and spine are clean.

I love this blade! Instantly feels great in my hand and can tell its going to be a monster at any task.

I’ve rarely taken one out of the box and liked it so much immediately! Res-C feels great as always. This is my first Satin Res-C. Where has it been all my life!

One of my new all time faves.
