people dont keep the boxes? well if you intend the knife to be a keeper for the long run sure

Ok so I may be losing my mind….I got to thinking about the box convo and that I have 6 boxes…but only 5 knives….Well six if you count my Mnandi but I tossed that box years ago.
Anyway I called my Son-in-Law and told him I still had the box to the Sebbie 31 I gave him and he said nope he had it. I thought I gave him the gold dbl stud L31 but he says I gave him a Blue single stud L31 in Magnacut that I don’t even remember buying so that sucks. I really thought once I quite drinking I would stop doing things I didnt remember! Anyway I have the box to a L31 S45VN dbl gold stud sebbie that I can not for the life of me remember what I did with it. Did I sell it to one of you guys? I checked and I didnt make a listing but I sell lots behind the scene in Pm so that really doesnt mean much.

See this is what happens when you keep all these freaking useless boxes laying around!

Also I'm beginning to feel the itch to try a micarta sebbie. I need to get hands on an inkosi and micarta sebbie to see which I prefer before choosing.

I thought I remembered seeing the gold double lug on the exchange. According to that it’s the one you gave away. Hope you figure it out! I like and keep the boxes but they are very bulky to store.

I figured it out. I didn’t give it to my Son-in-Law. It was my favorite daughters boyfriend!
 
I have owned several Umnumzaan's through out the years. For some reason I always end up selling them. Then a little while later I regret getting rid of it and go looking for another. I like the knife, I just don't know why I won't hang into them.

I know exactly what you are saying. The one I own now is my 9th one since 2017. My favorite knife but…

I’ve done this exact same thing with the ‘Zaan…I’m hoping if I do gradually move that direction again for one in MC I might actually keep it, we’ll see….
