Hey did you drill through the primer or knock it out?
Check in time, what's new with y'all? Anyone get any new knives? Interested in new knives?
I ordered a fox 599 karambit on impulse that should be here sometime this week. Kinda excited to get it tbh. I think it's about the only knife I would actually consider carrying solely for self defense purposes. It's waved like an Emerson, and the way it's set up in pocket allows for almost instantaneous deployment. The best part is that you can hook your finger in the ring and when you wave it out, the thing is automatically positioned in reverse grip and ready to be used. Really cool:thumbup:
Oh and my birthdays coming up (on the 12th) so I might be getting something else pretty soon. Might even be a nice new CRK to keep lil stabby company....... Hmmmm........Ideally I'd like a Damascus with cf inlays. Or maybe wood. IDK, But definately something dressier.
Anyway, Im also getting ready to ship my para 2 out to Keyman for a set of CF scales. His wait time is still around 8 weeks though, so I won't be seeing the result for some time
How about you? Anything new?
What's new for me is trying to make my own. I've made quite a few of my own knives before, but they were always driven by others' designs (ripped off, basically).
I'm going to try a few of my own designs. No holds barred. Big badass choppers and just stuff I personally like. "Evil, up to no good type chit".
Who knows if other people will like em. The good thing is that I know I will!

I can not keep my mind off mcustas lately! Even though they're probably a tad bit delicate for my uses, and the wood handles would get scarred to hell and back. I'm really trying to save up for a micarta 25. It's my realistic grail for the year(at the moment anyways).
I think the 25 comes with corian handles as well. Those might be better for heavier use.
Oh no, the grail I was referring to would be a crk micarta 25. You got my hopes up thinking that they snuck a new inlay version past me haha. If I were to get a mcusta it would be a tactility in cocobolo or burl, possibly ebony if it's available on that model.
Happy birthday if I miss you on here the day of, man. Nice score on the karambit. I don't believe they offered a DT Sebenza with CF inlays at BHQ, did they? If you found one, you could have it fitted with a DT blade provided you can wait 5 months. No new blades for me, I still browse in anticipation for what I want at BLADE, but I've held true to my "only one knife in 2015" commitment.
Deeeeeeem, sucka. Take my...credit!Actually there's a few varieties
But the raindrop's my favorite:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
