The Knife Life (Minor Topics and Random Stuff Thread)

Wooing the wonenfolk? Don't speak old person to me Dog:p

And my knife addiction is certainly not helping in that area. Not only do I have less money, but they have one of two reactions when you tell them you're into collecting knives.... Either they think you're a nerdy weirdo, or they're really effing scared:D

Girls my age anyway

You crack me up man! Ok ok, how about this: I ran through a bunch of skrilla trying to impress them dime pieces. That better?
I had an '86 Buick Regal, midnight blue paint (looked dark blue with silver flakes in the sunlight, looked black with big blue flakes at night), had 2 Orion 15's, full hydraulic setup (chain bridge, front, back, side to side, 3 wheel, etc.), 72 spoke chrome Roadster knock offs... Quite the girl getter!
I still managed to save up some for school, but not much. I had to go for every scholarship coming and going, play in the school band to get free books, got tons of help from my parents, and worked my butt off the whole time.
Back then, I was very much into knives and had a budding collection (since I was 5 or 6 years old), but there was no internet to really get me "hyped up on collecting". The best knife I had was that SOG Tomcat I mentioned. It was a beast of a knife, and will always have a special place in my heart.
All that said, I think I would've felt like a baller having 3 Sebenzas to choose from. You go boy!

You're a riot, man. We need to hang out sometime.

I keep telling you guys I'm not that damn old! You be the judge. Just look at all those wrinkles! Lol

LOL:D

And yes I do feel like a bit of a baller:cool:

I should carry them all at once and 'make it rain' but with sebbies:D

Haha you don't look old at all!

You could be Charlie Mike's cousin!

Haha! I appreciate it man!
And hell, I wish I was his cousin! I'd hit him up for a loan, or ask him if I could borrow that sweet Rolex. :D

Woooo! If you do that, make sure they're closed! And choose a chick who really likes knives.
"Hey girl, I'm about to chunk about $1500 worth of knives at you! You down?" Lol

And ant, does your wife know you're carrying her knife? I'm assuming that's the one you got her.

Holy hell! I just noticed quick reply was back. Thank god.

Uh-oh! You caught me! But, yeah, she knows. :)
I was messing around with a new sharpener at work yesterday (so I had a lot of knives with me), and I noticed the clip screws were loose on my Varga custom. I wouldn't dare risk losing it, and I still had half a workday to get through, so I threw her CQC-6K in my pocket. When I got home she saw the skull clip and said "hey, that's MY knife!"
I explained what happened, and she kindly let me borrow it. (Since I sharpened her Rat 2 to a mirror polished razor edge)
Good eye brother!

So I made the mistake of browsing through crk, and I am having to hold myself back with everything I've got to not pull the trigger on another one. I'm thinking micarta insingo, but I really need to pick up an ipod to store my massive music collection on. So I think I'm gonna grab that fantoni later today.

And that car sounds sick. My dream car has always been a classic impala on gold daytons.

Krissig - glad I could make you laugh!
SadSappy - she was a beaut, but I always wanted an Impala too. Fantonis are very nice. I think you'll dig it. We should burn some CDs sometime and swap some tunes.
John - mission accomplished!
:)

Caryin lil woody today. Although nowadays I'm almost aways carrying it...

But I think once I get my cf inlay Ill be leaving this one more for the special occasions, so I better have some fun with it now. Just a beautiful knife:thumbup:

Let me know what you're into, and I'll see what I've got. I try to keep a pretty large variety.
