This one belonged to my Grandfather, then my Dad and now me. I would never willingly part with it.

My very first Sebenza 21 and XM-18. I have other knives that I use more on an everyday basis or that I like just as much, but they were both a milestone in knife collecting for me.

It's weird, but it's hard to part with any of them, really. :)

+1  They talk about "buyer's remorse?" I get a worse case of "seller's remorse" when I sell a knife on the exchange - even if I've never used it & maybe never will. :D

My first buck 110 out of sentimental value, everything else can be bought and sold.

I will never get rid of it or use it. I know most of you don't really like this type of knife but it was a great investment for me. They were orginally $550.00and now sell for $2000.00. Only 16 were ever made. I had two, sold this one, and wish I would have kept it and still have a mint one in the safe.

Big knife:

My Himalayan Imports Amar Singh Thapa Khukuri.
This is the 1st knife that stressed me out after it got stuck in Malaysia Custom and a good samaritan/folder crazy chap called Cotherion offered me his help.

Small knife:
Kershaw Talon 1421st with bottle opener.
Not many made and certainly hard to find now. It remains my loyal EDC and quick slasher.

The First Randall I ever bought. A Model 5 with stag handle, 01 tool steel, and 5 inch long, 1/4 inch thick blade. Spoke to Gary Randall himself that day when I called, many years ago. There is no way I could ever part with it. It will one day be one of my sons.

I have quite a few I will never get rid of. My son has been buying me the Case yellow handle cv knives for different occasions and I will always keep them. My Sebenza will stay because it is so perfect. My Spyderco Manix, and auto Citadel stay because the Manix is discontinued and feels so good in hand and it's tough to get autos. My Emersons aren't going anywhere either. I will keep my B. Goode customs also because they are great knives. If I get something I don't like I will move it pretty fast otherwise I will keep them.

I have a few I'll keep, but the two I want to mention happen to be Benchmades. The first was a gift from my wife: Mini-AFCK with ATS-34, Spyderco opening hole and liner lock. The second was a gift from a friend: BM806-901 M4, Spyderco opening hole and Axis Lock. A picture showing the two, with some other knives:

My wife bought me a BM 670 for our second anniversary. That knife and I have seen some time together throughout the past 6 years. I would never get rid of it; one, because my greatest love bought it for me and two, because the knife has never failed me and always asked for more.

Never say never :D
However, I will keep my Krein Dogfish. How can you get rid of the one which worked so HARD for you :)
