The top knife is a Whittler, the middle one is a Wharncliffe Pen, and the bottom one is a Pen. In my mind anyway.
I stubbornly do not use the term "Half-Whittler":eek:, but I know what someone means by it!:D

That Wharncliffe Pen is actually a "Two-Thirds Whittler", more or less!:D:D

But I am half-Crazy!!:):p

I prefer the term"Half-whit"! :) :eek: :foot:
 
Thanks Charlie, I just figured half Congress, half Whittler :), on another note, I'm happy to see the excitement building in some of our members who are getting their first forum knife :) (i still get excited every year myself, just like a little kid ;) ), even to the point of ponying up for a gold membership to support our community, :thumbup: to them and thanks and, two :thumbup: :thumbup: for you Charlie for taking this on.
 
It is nice to see the gold names appearing! I hope Spark appreciates it!
It of course is not mandatory, and anyone finding it a stretch, does not have to spend the money. Let's not make anyone feel bad if they are tight for funds.
It has certainly been my state of affairs in past years. We all have our highs and lows, and priorities.

Charlie...you're killing me man! :eek: I keep checking on here to see if the voting has begun on the Forum knife. Any thoughts on when? :D

It turns out our own Eric the Cutler (works at Canal street) did not like the pictures that we got from them, so he is doing something better. He asked me to wait.
I think (hope) he will have it tomorrow!
I am doing my best to give the Cutleries an even chance at this.
GEC's pics are nicely done, to their credit!
 
Ready and willing to start the poll process....with my new GOLD NAME! :P

All joking aside though, it's going to be hard to beat the GEC single blade.

Sounds good. The more I think about, it a 2 blade half moon trapper would be a great EDC. A full size trapper is just a little big.
 
Curiouser and curiouser!
So I thought we'd be getting better pictures! We are, but we are also getting another choice of knives. Eric (EA42 on the forums) actually built a prototype, a 3 3/8" Jack. He apologizes for the "white" showing on the Stag, saying it was the only bit in the factory he had to work with. More info to follow.
