Dorado in SoCal may have lockjaw, but in Baja, they are biting just fine. :)

The BK5 for size comparison, and my cutting board is 2' x 4'.
You call that a cutting board,? I call it a table :p

Did you have trouble getting a scope anchored on that 460? I have a rws 34 that is shooter. I have a Walther Parrus that is real close to the 460 in power, but isn't as classy looking. I'm really liking the Hatsan guns

Anyone else here into air rifles ?
Yes.

I gave away my RWS/Diana 54.
Have a Weirauch HW30 (tweaked sights), Beeman R7 ❤️, and FWB 300S.

I'm into precision and build quality over power. Tho kinda want an R9, but also maybe a gas piston instead. But then... too many.

I have 9 air rifles my Walther Parrus in 177 is a magnum springer hard to keep a scope anchored and not really pleasant to shoot hopefully this new mount will solve my scope issues when I get everything right it flat shooting hard hitting gun.
I have a Diana model 34 in 177 classic gun that does what it is made for and looks good doing it.
Benjamin 397 rounds out my 177 guns with a Williams peep sight it's light and handy

I finally found a Sheridan blue streak in decent shape to replace the one that got me hooked on air rifles

I have a Benjamin 392 set up and sighted in exactly like my 397 except in 22
Benjamin trail NP2 in 22 is my first gas piston gun accurate reliable rifle
Crosman 2260 CO2 just powerful enough for close range hunting easy to shoot but loses power in cold weather
Just got a Hatsan model 65 in 22 this week so far I am liking it hit targets first four shots 5th shot took a squirrel Hatsans are a lot of gun for the money
Hatsan model 95 is my wanting a 25 caliber pellet gun once it has started getting broken in it is a shooter

If I had it to do over I wouldn't have bought the 2260 because of needing CO2 and I am not sure on the Walther

Gammo wispertech some thing or other.Nice and powerful with 10 round mags. Its a break open. Quieter than my Ruger break open .177 cal. Love them stand alone break opens. Yes CO2 is rapid fire. Yes resivor tanks are more powerful with needing an air compressor. But for stand alone when your in the middle of no where it sure comes in handy. I gave my other air rifles to friends and family who foolishly went to "Live off the Nature" in Alaska. They said it fed them more than their regular rifles. Little Critters add up. Yes they had 22 Lr but you can easily take 4000 pellet rounds with you vs even 22 lr. Also telling them how to fill their snares faster if there were yummy bunnies around. (really snowshoe hares. I live were there is alaska topography in the lower 48 here. When I went to Alaska a few times locals were suprised I knew how to move though their country so easy)

We got 31F now, if I run a "Deer Camp" its Dry. I was nice and alone but my step brother who hunts on the far side of the property I let him hunt on as he wants to be alone a well. till the nephews, step brother who went non alchie, and my little adopted brother, and nephews who don't drink and seen "BEER CAMPS" in action that they got scared of for some reason. Drunks with Guns, how dangerous could that be? 😵 Getting crowded... but the "Evil Step" mother is having has more land than I do, but a few nephews are hunting there. (Good luck to them keeping their deer!) The only good thing is the major deer trails branch off on to my property, but I think people started to catch on. Since we don't harass deer, only kill them during murdering season, they like the area for food and shelter. The big old paper company Norway Pine stands look pretty, give good winter micro climate effect, but with all the pine needles on the ground there is no food. The logged off swamps...no cover, I had bad blow downs on my swamp as well, but the brush and mixed trees offer more cover.t by Across the road there is even better cover. The "Mini Deer" from the more "Developed" area go there but sneak where they can't be seen and get hit by cars and feed the wolves that way. And save the smarter local deer from being eaten. The local deer cross the road by going by the big open areas, if a car slows down they turn and bolt the other way for some odd reason. 🤓

Once some one thought to let part Russian Boars go in the area, winter came and snow, boars couldn't maneuver and they were starving, seems black spruce and alder brush didn't give them enough food, then the wolves wiped them out with ease after a big snow fall. Around here we have bad topography for feral hogs, and we got things that will eat them.
