The official Challenge knife thread!Makers please confirm your entry

That is a very sharp looking knife Jared.

Nothin' like getting right down to the wire... mine is done finally. Angie is stitching the sheath right now. Just needs to be sharpened up and wet-from the sheath. Hopefully it will be dry by morning :D :o

That is cutting it close James. At least you are delivering it yourself. Have fun and be safe.

Someone take a bunch of pics to post early for those of us that couldn't make it.

Is this gonna be the pictures thread from the Gathering/Challenge too??
Hope you guys are having fun!
It's gorgeous here in the northeast.

Well I had to work this weekend and missed out on alk the fun. If the weather up there is like it is here an hour away than they are swimming! It hasnt stopped all day.

We just got home. It was a tad drizzly. The boys built a cool bamboo hootch using the challenge knives, among other things.

Here's a pic of one of the notches they cut with mine, and some of the challenge knives lined up. I'm sorry to say, by that point there were already a couple of pretty serious failures.

Well......

3 knives suffered catastrophic failure....the judging is complete.......numbers will be tallied and the post will be made probably wednesday.

I do hope that is agreeable......I might the bulk of it tomorrow, but I doubt it will be completed in a single sitting.
