Just got an e-mail from ND Fish and game regarding the lottery for deer tags and regions. I got a buck tag (any antlered) in my 1st choice region!!!! I'm so stoked.
There are so many deer up here and this is my first season to get out and bag one.

one question for you smart folks, I have heard that some people de-oil the Nortons? I guess by boiling from what I hear...is that recommended? Or just use it the way it came? I am indifferent either way..whichever works better.
Ditto on the WD-40. Make sure to wash it off though.Fisk says a shot of wd-40 on it works well. I use this method, but I'm no expert on sharpening.
