The what did you get for Christmas thread!

I got the Fenix TA21 I've been wanting. It came from the seller with the batteries not included in the provided carton.:grumpy:
I'll have to pick some up tomorrow.
I gave my oldest son a Kleen Kanteen and a David Farmer Farmhand. He is very happy as well.

I got to spend Christmas with my kids. Long story, but this was the best Christmas gift I could get.

I got to spend the evening with the family this year, even my sister in law who I'd like to smack didn't bother me to much this year. Offered my brother the loan of a pistol so he could put himself out of his misery but he declined, I reckon he decided he could take his family for one more year.

Loot wise I made out good, got a couple of new flannel shirts, t-shirts, socks, and a pair of jeans. I'm the guy the family is ashamed to go places with cause I wear clothes till they have patches and sometimes patches on patches. Also go a new pipe a Wiley Freehand #5 and a Buck Vantage Pro.

I got to spend the year with you guys. Oh, and Mist sent me some fatwood.

It's a good Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all.

I'm kind of embarrassed at the bounty I received this year. My wife kept badgering me to make a list, so I thought of a bunch of outdoor like things, trying to give her a variety of things so she can pick one or two and surprise. She opted to not surprise, pretty near got me everything on my list.

One great item - his and her squishy bowl and cups from guyot. They are these little silicon cup and bowl sets that you can just squish flat in your pack. Yet they can stand up on their own with liquid in them. No more burn't lips drinking coffee from my steel cup :D

Turns out my wife did some patronage at GoingGear, so I'll now be able to say just how hard those going gear rods are really to spark. Well, with 4 of Storl's sparkers, it turns out not very hard at al ;) Also items from Bens Backwoods in there too and a CDN company that I really wanted to buy from and support. So, in part, I'm happy to keep these fine businessman a bit of our business while getting the great products they provide.

Merry Christmas.

Cash, four Warrior-Wipes (personal care wipes - very handy), 100' of paracord, maxpedition pistol mag velcro insert for my Active Shooter bag. The insert is now holding 2 snickers bars in my EDC bag.

Total outdoor haul (self-administered Christmas presents - we don't exchange gifts with the adults in the family, any more)- 15-1/2" HI CAK, a BRKT Gunny in Black Canvas micarta (Damn, what a fine knife), and an orange, floating Silva guide compass for day hikes (have an old Ranger 15 for more involved excursions)

Glad I listened to you, Jake, I like it just fine with the thumb ramp. I didn't think it was possible but I might like this as much, if not more, than the Bravo1.

Now I have to wait and see if they bring it out in stainless.:o
